He said he couldn't wait to get back to training with Leicester and meet back up with his team mates and was especially looking forward to seeing all 22 names on the teamsheet for the Liverpool game . Apologies - I completely missed that one 😀 1
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 16 November 2020 Share Posted 16 November 2020 Must be a doubt for next Sunday now. You don't mess about with concussions in this day and age, even if he wasn't technically 'out cold'.

Unfortunately, I think he'll play against Belgium as it's the group decider.

StanSP Posted 17 November 2020 Share Posted 17 November 2020 (edited) He should be fine Quote (The substitution) was more for the sake of safety on the doctors' recommendation not to take any chances with it,” he told the Danish FA. “But luckily it was just a blow and it was not as bad as it looked. I've seen it now and it looks a lot worse than it is. “I am feeling very good, have slept well and am ready for training.” Edited 17 November 2020 by StanSP

FoyleFox Posted 14 December 2020 Share Posted 14 December 2020 Critical couple of excellent early saves, very important to not concede to those early chances. I was unaware until this evenings commentary that Kasper has telescopic legs...

Les-TA-Jon Posted 14 December 2020 Share Posted 14 December 2020 It's important to recognise the fine margins in football, even when they go your way. Worldie save from Kasper at 0-0 last night. That Welbeck chance goes in, whilst there's no reason to think we might have lost, I'm not sure we'd have had the very easy evening we did have, and that allowed players to effectively rest in the 2nd half. Just like the Fulham game - we hit the woodwork twice at 0-0 and we know what happened next...

Defence should have reacted as well as him. 1st yes. Definitely should do better. But having said that, letting Richarlison come on to his right and not shut down the shot is now down to Kasper. Two absolute worldie stops for the second - desperately unlucky.
shailen Posted 17 December 2020 Share Posted 17 December 2020 2nd goal had two incredible saves before they scored on the third rebound. First goal he saw that shot from far out and got a good hand to it so disappointing to not be saving that.

Not much pace, close to him, puts it straight back in the mixer. Not trying to single Kasper out and get people on him, he's a superb keeper and I love him for his time here. Other players didn't exactly do their best in defence either but imo he's got to get a firmer wrist on the first, and the second has to be either caught or thumped out of danger.
Analysethis Posted 17 December 2020 Share Posted 17 December 2020 I love Kasper for what he has achieved with us and his loyalty. I also think he is a great shot stopper. However, his distribution and the fact that he doesn't leave his goal line for crosses is painful viewing lol. Still, we love him regardless LOL
Popular Post blaaklint Posted 18 December 2020 Popular Post Share Posted 18 December 2020 according to fbref, the percentage of crosses kasper successfully comes for is 8.7%. that puts him sixth in the PL and is over double his percentage last year.idk whether corners are included in the stats or what successful really means in this context but the numbers would suggest he's not quite as useless as people make out. i should also say in his defence that coming for corners imo is just generally a bad idea? there's a lot more which can go wrong from corners (more people in the way, generally better headers in the box too) which make it quite a bad strategy unless you're absolutely sure you can make it.
