Left Chilwell in one of those situations where there's one lad in front of you at the chip shop and only one battered sausage. Thomas dropped the shoulder and went beef and onion and then pulled rank and took the full fcukin business.

Up until Man U, I have thought a loan would suit Leicester and Thomas because of the quality of our other players.  However, Thomas is now sometimes picked ahead of Ricardo.  His goal showed class worthy of a top league.  

 

Now I admit I was wrong to suggest this legend, assisting the winner on an Fa Cup final should be loaned out.  I was very wrong and I am sorry.

Unbelievable performance for a 19 year old in his first major cup final. Gets better and better, what a player this lad could be for us and the country in the coming years.

Luke Thomas has got his FA Cup medal and his Euro 2020 place.

I take it back. I eat my words.

 

Was so concerned that James would have had Thomas on Toast today. And although James was moved to CB and not directly 1 on 1 v Thomas I thought Luke had a good game and was steady Eddie down that side. For such a young lad and a Leicester lad in an FA Cup final With the pressure on such young shoulders he did immensely well. So much potential in this lad.

Gosens > Thomas. I think Thomas is fantastic for a 19 year old but nowhere near Gosens at the moment. Certainly no worse than Chilwell at the same age.

Unreal performance Luke! What a brilliant player this young lad is!

 

He has nerves of steel and didn't put a foot wrong all match long. You should be nervous and timid in an FA Cup final, but he and Fofana were rock solid. Really made for him, he has a massive future here.

 

I think we will sign another player who might play in front of him, but Thomas will continue to get many games and he has proved he is ready to step up whenever called upon. I love it that a local lad who is a fan is living the dream and is so humble.
