Goal aside, for the last 25 minutes, whilst playing against one of the worst teams in the league, in desperate need of a goal, we had Tielemans, Maddison, Under, Iheanacho, Barnes and Vardy on the pitch.

Fulham defended well, have gotten much better defensively bar last week. As with West Ham, none of our lot really turned up, too arrogant first half and never really looked like doing much thereafter. Terrible defending for the first but got to start games better, it’s too slow and controlled.
 

Need to confront the fact that Vardy offers absolutely nothing in these games.

last two league games have been dreadful, don't know if its fatigue or formations but something has to change.

In all seriousness, this team is too finesse-oriented. We need more toughness. I had hoped we had found some of that after last season's collapse, but then we play matches like this where we get face-fuched by bad sides because we are soft and do not match their energy and desire. We used to have that most weeks, we had a bunch of scrappers, though they lacked this side's talent. Now we are like Arsenal-lite -- capable of pretty football on our day but soft AF if the other side are physical and force us to fight. Which is why we can handle a finesse-oriented Man City team, and then look like absolute dogshite against a team like Liverpool.

 

These are the games that will cost us CL in the end. Not losses to Liverpool, but losses to relegation fodder like f'ing Fulham.

Absolutely embarrassing and woeful performance. 

 

Really one of the worst for ages. So many off performances, including that of the manager. When will he learn that this system isn't effective for us against poor teams who counter attack.

 

Fulham gave it 100% but they weren't very good. We gave it to them. The poor passing, poor positional play, the lot. The delivery from corners was an abomination. Under hitting it knee height in the last min was shocking. 

 

Fuchs was dog shit. Not seen him so bad. Fofana was wank as well especially first half. 

 

We've lost 4/10 games. Not good enough let's be honest, considering who we have lost three of these to.

Utterly utterly toothless, doing the same slow sideways passing over and over and over again isnt going to break a team down. It just lets the opponent get back into positions. Absolute shit show. Cant wait to have Ricardo and Castagne back so we can actually have full backs who overlap and create attacking oppurtunities instead of the drips who just stand back and watch as Harvey Barnes get crowded out by 3 players on him like a rash.

There wasn't even much urgency then. Fulham never really looked troubled at all. I'm pretty confident that will be their only away win all season and they probably deserved to win by more. Very, very disappointing.
