JonnyBoy Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 Classic Leicester, wheels are coming off again
Webbo Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 Having to listen to that bell end Stringer. I've just changed my broadband to Nowtv and its fvcked my IPTV and every stream.

As much as I don't like fans jeering and booing, I genuinely think it would have prevented us being behind right now. We have become far too comfortable tossing around at the back with no urgency and no attacking threat. I'd like to see them do that with 30000+ fans around them. Abaolutley 100%. Would never get away with being this negative if fans were there.
Sunbury Fox Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 It would be nice if you could rely on us to score rather than concede a cheap set piece goal or two over the season. The one we conceded today was laughably bad. A simple ball into the box with no great place and Luiz left with a free header.

Given we’re so bad at defending set pieces, you’d think we’d try not to play so deep and invite a lot of pressure on. Don’t think we have the legs to take the game to them now. I think this might be a good game for Choudhury actually, he could inject a more energy into our performance. Agree with your first para but getting Hamza on is definitely not the way to go and it goes against what you said about not inviting pressure on. Hamza just knows how to pass backwards and defend. We need to go all out attacking. Let’s not fear anymore and play. If we lose so be it but to lose in this way is hard to take. 1
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 I’m not having that our players are spent. This is EXACTLY why we fielded a weakened side v Slavia and crashed and burned out of a major tournament Its time for the bullshit to stop and for Brendan and the lads to get a grip. We are making this too easy for a bang average Arsenal team
Motty Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 (edited) fuchs for thomas and go to 5 in midfield Edited 28 February 2021 by Motty
shailen Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 Not sure why we decided to sit deep after the start we made to the game. Should have kept the emphasis up.

That really was a shocking half of football, lucky to be 2-1 down Yeah it’s almost like Brendan has them believing they are better than they are, then a poor defeat leaves the players questioning either him or theirselves. Last seasons capitulation can’t have been down to his Tactics and game plans, as he has proved on long runs that he often gets it right.
Popular Post deejdeej Posted 28 February 2021 Popular Post Posted 28 February 2021 They deserve to be ahead, but we can't be as bad 2nd half. However, just because we're losing a game doesn't mean it's a repeat of last season, and just because Thomas is having a torrid time today doesn't mean he hasn't been fantastic since coming into the team. Far too many people on these match threads are way too cynical. 5
lgfualol Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 Vardy looks like an old grandpa out there, we just need to give the ball to Barnes and hope for the best.

Ndidi’s been poor today but I still don’t wanna lose him. Our biggest problem is going forward, coming back every time. We have too many injuries in our attacking personnel- this was always a free hit too me.

turlo Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 getting totally overrun in midfield with 2 up front but we dont have any midfield options on the bench other than DMs. Rodgers will have to come up with something inventive here to get back into the game

Arsenal are shit but yes they are destroying us as we have been utterly pathetic again like we were on Thursday.

fox_favourite Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 Can’t see us coming back from this...going to be a tough watch second half. Can’t argue with any decisions made. We just look tired and no enthusiasm to win. Look like a team that needs a break.
Cropwellfox Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 Hadn’t noticed Vardy holding his groin but if so that’s a disaster, injuries defining the second half of our season again. Albrighton and Tavares on for Thomas and Vardy maybe ? Can’t see anyone else on the bench who’d help us attack with more intensity. Tavares as unknown quantity and Barnes would be wasted as a 10
Sunbury Fox Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 (edited) We've basically treated Arsenal like prime Barcelona in the 2 games this season. Just no attacking intent whatsoever. Edited 28 February 2021 by Sunbury Fox
Babylon Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 Rodgers going to grow a pair and make a change or we need to wait for the 3rd goal / Thomas red card? 1

Maybe he’s holding his groin as an excuse for how terrible his form is right now. Either way it’s like we are playing with ten men.
Stevosevic Posted 28 February 2021 Posted 28 February 2021 This season is going the same way as last season isn't it. So predictable.
