Popular Post RoboFox Posted 22 December 2021 Popular Post Posted 22 December 2021 (edited) Anyone can miss a penalty, that’s not the issue. The issue is he missed a penalty after approaching the spot like the old boy at the local boozer approaches the bar after 10 pints: He’s unfit for the task, and he’s been stinking out the place for far too long. Squad player or not, we need to be aiming higher than this. Awful signing so far. I hope he proves me wrong. Edited 23 December 2021 by RoboFox 10 2
sm1 Posted 22 December 2021 Posted 22 December 2021 He's so shit I don't know where to start. The penalty is indicative of his attitude. He just ambled up and passed it to their GK, no energy or desire. Why Rodgers trusts him and played him is beyond me. 2

He has a contract, and already won PL, CL...and will just sit the rest of his career out. I thought we'd stopped being a club that acted a retirement home for seasoned professionals. Obviously not. The reason I and so many other fans hate him is it's a horrible reminder and throw back to those days. Signing Bertrand goes against everything we have stood for as a club over the last decade plus. It's the sort of signing we'd like fun at the likes of Everton for. What on earth were we thinking? Man would struggle in the league below!!! 7

Tielemans63 Posted 22 December 2021 Posted 22 December 2021 Worst part of it is that we're stuck with this joker 2
Corky Posted 22 December 2021 Posted 22 December 2021 Thought he'd be a solid back-up but certainly been the opposite. If we can, move him on at the end of the season. He's not going to get better here.

He looked quite good before he contracted the disease, and his fitness has been off ever since. IF that's the case then I genuinely feel bad for him. Vestergaard is just a donkey though
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 22 December 2021 Posted 22 December 2021 So we had to bring on this inadequate player, because his inadequate beanpole mate can't play in a back 4. So we had to bring on a crap player, because of another crap players limitations. Solid recruitment that 🤔 4
Popular Post Sharpe's Fox Posted 22 December 2021 Popular Post Posted 22 December 2021 Would have been better off giving Fuchs a year extension. This guy is a complete bum. 9
Jaspa Posted 22 December 2021 Posted 22 December 2021 It's sad really. A professional who's proven himself elsewhere, been a leader for years, well regarded, now struggling for confidence to get the best out of himself. Fans on his back, twilight of his career ..... nahhh you've got to hit the ****ing ball like you mean it Ryan. Piss poor penalty. Every bloody match there's something awful you do. Just have one alright performance, without any of tthese weak moments, give the fans something to cheer and you'll have your name sung. Looked class against Villarreal, show us you aren't done.
Bazly Posted 22 December 2021 Posted 22 December 2021 Needs to be got rid of in the Summer, if not before.

Popular Post Ian Nacho Posted 22 December 2021 Popular Post Posted 22 December 2021 I was dubious about this signing from the moment I saw the announcement photos when he was wearing a pair of vile joggers looking like he’d cacked his pants at school and had to wear something out of lost property for the rest of the day. 6
ScrumpyJack Posted 22 December 2021 Posted 22 December 2021 Have tried to reserve judgement on him and Vestergaard. They’re absolutely shite.
Tielemans63 Posted 22 December 2021 Posted 22 December 2021 Stop off at the M6 services and leave the ****er there.
Rigga Posted 22 December 2021 Posted 22 December 2021 BR has to take the rap for Bertrand …. Freebie or not, his whole body language stinks of someone who just isn’t interested.. would expect so much more from a seasoned pro but it seems obvious that he has just come for the pay packet.. 1 1
lee7 Posted 23 December 2021 Posted 23 December 2021 The way he approached his penalty was a joke. Didn't look like scoring for a second.

Dan Posted 23 December 2021 Posted 23 December 2021 If we could get rid and get Fuchs back for 6 months I'd genuinely do it. He's horrible. 1
Farrington fox Posted 23 December 2021 Posted 23 December 2021 Probably in the top 5 of worst all time transfers.

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 23 December 2021 Posted 23 December 2021 To me it looks like a physical and mental thing. His legs have gone (and was told this by Soton supporting mates) and therefore I think his head has as well. BR has mentioned that training has to lack intensity and it’s mostly about recovery (given fixture congestion) - and I wonder if that’s a problem for a lot of our players at the moment. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and see what he can do with a full pre season next year - but he’s looked a shadow of what I’ve seen of him elsewhere. 1
