As others have said the benefit of BDCR starting is Skipp out the team.

Abdul, Mavi, BDCR is probably our best front 3 with Monga, Page and Silko Thomas off the bench.

We need a striker on Jan 1st

He's certainly not one I hate and think he gets some harsh criticism. He's not someone who can start every week but he's a handy player to have at this level and can score/create a goal which is something we are desperately lacking. Doesn't seem to have a problem attitude wise like some of the other squad members and seems like he'll give it his all.

Do find it strange though that Marti mentioned him when he first joined as being a player he was impressed with but has barely used him, despite our other attacking options being shite.

At this stage of his career (and maybe for most of it) he’s best coming off the bench. We can’t bet the mortgage on him being good from the off - he’s not

I think this is fair as it gets. This exact post could also be used to describe Kasey McAteer hHa

The same guy who said he was going to use youth and then plays Vesty paired with Faes for most of his games so far.

He's all talk.

Won't have a choice but to use them now if Nelson and Okoli are both injured

I don't think a lot of people know why they dislike him.

This forum is such a bandwagon at times and people just jump on what they feel are popular opinions.

Far down the last last summer after Skipp and Ayew.

I felt it seemed the sort of signing Pearson would have made. I think it’s more what his signing was alongside than in isolation.

Yeah, you're probably right. Also perhaps the fact it was a Steve Cooper signing because many weren't chuffed about his appointment either.

I think people sort of put Ayew and Reid in the same box and this is why Bobby gets some unfai stick on here.

The reality is he’s a steady player at this level, that won’t set the wood alight, however will pop

up with goals and assists.

I imagine the reason Marti sings his praises so much will be down to his attitude, application and the fact he is committed to the club and the cause.

whilst he may not be the 1st name on anyone’s starting XI he has been pretty good when he has played and has been effective.

I think fans know their players better then most. When he came here Fulham fans were pretty disappointed to see him leave. He certainly needs a run in the team, preferably at CAM.

Going to be tricky unless we can get one in on loan with an option. Think we are stuck with what we have but we'll need a review in the summer as Ayew, Daka and Carranza will be gone.

He doesn’t fill me with great confidence. Ramsey is clearly the best player for the 10, but at least Bobby does put a shift in, he gets the ball FORWARD and he has enough experience.

He has to start next game instead of Skipp and Ayew can come on for him in the 10 while Ramsey is out. (or untill Page is available)

Gives us

Fatawu/Ayew                 Monga/Mav

                       BDCR/Ayew

Start him in the No. 10 role in the next match and see how he does. To me, he's neither a striker nor a winger. And he's not getting any younger or faster.

I would start him there as well. He attempts to bring others into play and is a better option than Ayew.  He certainly isn’t a bottle neck like Ayew.

If it means JJ is next to Winks to drive from deep then all the better.  But with this clown in charge he’ll start Skipp and Ayew again and play JJ so he has to live off of scraps with his back to goal.

Just watching the highlights and you have to say he's single handedly won us that game.

Marti mentioned his great understanding of the game in his post match interview and I wonder if he was watching from the bench perplexed as all of us how there seems to be very little support for the wingers, especially Fatawu who seems to be the one who struggles the most isolated.

With in 10 mins he had basically played Fatawu through for what should have been a goal, helped himself to a goal and then set up Fatawu for the cross for the winner. All three major events happening from that pocket on the right hand side slightly tucked in position.

I give him plenty of pelters so it's only fair to acknowledge that cameo was as good as it gets.

Let's see some consistency now though please Bobby.

Didnt he start there at home against Wrexham. I thought he was pretty good for most the game but short of fitness. Hit the bar it i recall as well?

We don't know what's going on with Ramsey, but for now keep Bobby at 10 and rotate with Page and Ramsey (if he comes back). Keep JJ at 8.

Why would anyone in right mind pick Ayew. Absolute  donkey of a player. People say he holds the ball up well. He may do but then the prat gives it away

Yeah, but I also had the Norwich commentary on yesterday and they were fawning over Skipp's performance and saying he was "exactly what they were missing".

I actually thought he was having an ok game by his own crap standards, but most on here seemed to disagree and slated him all game, so yeah, there are levels to these things. lol

Won't deny that BDCR changed the game yesterday though. Like far too many players we own, he's best employed as an impact sub against tiring legs, but a waste of a position from the start of games. Calls to start him at #10 are premature and will just lead to more disappointment when he has 60 anonymous minutes before getting hooked for Daka.
