Jamie Vardy scored his first goal in 8 weeks on Tuesday apparently, if you take out the goal at Tottenham two weeks ago.

Sounds like the ramblings of a typical conspiracy theorist.

The state of this...

I would accept it as parody or satire if it wasn’t so blatantly poorly-written

Is there anyone who hates us more than Chris Sutton

FORMER Celtic striker Chris Sutton has labelled Celtic’s reserves as bigger than Leicester City amid Brendan Rodgers move.

He hasn’t got over us winning the League where he continually bad mouthed us.

Its because we eclipsed Blackburns achievement who bought the league title.

Nottingham lad, enough said jealously rearing its head, tosspot of the highest order.

He was in the Norwich side that nearly won the title but blew up near the end.

There were plenty of people saying after Christmas that such and such a club has been there as well but a club like us always succumb to pressure or mean reversion eventually. Despite a lot of people being happy for us there was a subset who hated it. It really galled them that we won it at a canter in the end and didn't blow up despite them predicting it for months that it would happen at any time.

IIRC Sutton was one of those who resented our win and constantly predicted that we would implode eventually.

Don’t really care what he thinks, everyone else and their dog know that this is a step forward... Celtic are a bigger club but the league they are in means there isn’t any attraction there. We have big potential and Rodgers sees that.

Quite surprising then that Rodgers didn’t hold out for the Celtic Reserves job

To be fair it wasnt as bad a discussion/opinion when shown in that context. Sutton is a pleb but he evidently loves Celtic and that gets in the way of his position as a pundit. Lescott argued that very well, as did Sidwell. Two modern players who understand the gig.

That's what I don't get. You've got to be impartial. Neville doesn't parade on Sky saying how much Manchester United are better than everybody else.

Sutton is a hurt little boy. Lescott argued very well, as did Sidwell.

I did think they missed a glaring point, though. When Sutton was banging on about Celtic being the bigger club, I was thinking that he's missing the point. No-one's arguing that Leicester are bigger; Rodgers moved to the best league in the world to challenge himself against some of the best managers on the planet at the peak of their abilities. What self-respecting manager would stay in a job that any idiot could do when they could be at the top table? Celtic are Usain Bolt in a race against unfortunate schoolchildren.

Chris Sutton is in the same bracket as Danny Mills, for some reason they have chips on their shoulders, don’t like us, but with views are pretty much irrelevant.

He's only there to instigate a reaction to keep 606 and BT Sport relevent. I've only really caught him before on Sunday evening 606's where I need background noise on and it's the same formula - come out with crap, get some numpty mad enough to call in, troll and repeat; it's an entertainment business.
