I quite like Mount and he's played very well in a young attacking Chelsea side but Maddison is better and has the stats to back it up. if anything, Mount has had a relatively quiet month.

Most neutrals would agree with you, not just Leicester fans. Nothing against Mount who is a good player, but Maddison is literally one of the best players in the league at the moment according to stats, performances and his club's league position. And that's including ALL players, not just English ones.
