Kelechi Iheanacho

Looks like he will be starting and Vardy on the bench for Villa. We should have enough to get the job done and Wembley here we come :yahoo:

Yes I would agree with that. No point in risking Vardy with so much at stake. Kelechi won't let anyone down.

Withe his recent work rate and Goals. He could well exchange places with Perez.

Yes it was his goal that has kept us level pegging in the tie, and, if he scores tomorrow and we get through to the final, massive selection headache for Rodgers. Would be tremendously unfair not to play him in the final, but assuming Vardy is fit then you would naturally play him as your first choice striker.

I would be so disappointed for Kelechi if he didn't get at least a decent run out at Wembley under those circumstances.

Here's how we would play both

Barnes Vardy Iheanacho Ricardo

Hamza Ndidi Praet

Fuchs Evans Soyuncu

Thought he was excellent this evening. He's a changed man. Previously, you might get  a 10 minute spell from him and then he'd get all mardy and sulk about. Nowadays he seems to be enjoying his football and really fitting in well, he's starting to look like the player we hoped we'd bought.

He should be keeping his place. Looks likely to score every match and his holdup and linking play is magnificent.

Agree. Vardy doesn’t look fully fit and Nacho is our most in form player. Incredible to think after not even making the squad for many of the first 10 games that he’s playing so well. Fantastic Man management and respect to the player too.

Crazy what a year can do. If you'd posted last year and said Nacho would be our impact sub and a decent option to lead the line you'd have been mocked on this sub.

The goal against Everton, meant our fickle core of supporters then cheered him.

great what positive fan support can do to a players confidence.

If Vardy is fit, I think both should start against Chelsea (Perez can start on the bench).
