Wolves 0-0 Leicester post match thread.

Recommended Posts

Will take the point with how the game panned out. Wolves away is usually notoriously difficult for us.

Boly must hate VAR lol

Jimenez had an off day which we're fortunate for.

Like 2 weeks ago, if we don't win the game at least don't lose it. It's another point towards top 4 consolidation and a point taken off a top 4 contender.

We are completely spineless and there is absolutely no desire in the team to win.

Disgraceful marking from set pieces continues, as does the sideways gameplay.

Brendan needs to massively give his head a wobble and decide what he is trying to achieve here. We didnt even try and win this game tonight.

Been poor for weeks and done nothing to rectify it. Our league position just shows how incredibly bad the prem is this year. Its laughable.

Sort it out.

Have a pint chill out for God sake will give your self a injury.

0-0 away from home against an extremely dangerous team.

Take that point all day, every day.

Only downside is that we never gambled with two up top. Could have caused them serious problems through the middle if we had had the balls to do so.

Whatever. 50 points and counting. Still a cracking season so far.

Strange game. Going forward we are clueless. Patience wearing thin with Perez, doesn’t really have anything to his game, very lightweight, nor a lot of guile, not pacy. We could do without continuously trying to attack from wide. Literally horseshoe e tactics from Rodgers again and again.

Very, very good point. Important we didn't lose.

Can turn the tele off and not listen to this pandering of Wolves. Warrants a complaint to Ofcom. Didn't do enough to win even when we had ten men and they are still moaning about the offside goal!

Love Ricky P.

Yeah, that was a minger again.

But, Wolves are a good side and a point away is not to be sniffed at.

Brendan needs to address these sub-par performances, though. Where has the pre-Christmas City gone? We can’t blame fatigue anymore, something has gone a bit awry.

Still, Man City next up, eh?

At least they’ll step up to the plate and we’ll get chances

To be fair I think we would have last 10 if we could but the red card made us just defend

They dug in after sending off... only positive. Oh actually, Ricky P. Our right back offered our biggest threat.

Passive. Boring. Puel eat your heart out. One twos between Evans and Soyunchu is now our recognised tactic. Starting 11 is as predictable as our tactical play.
Defending from set pieces was mostly terrible, no idea how they didn’t score

Rodgers lit this team alight when he came in. But last 2 months the flame has gone out. Still can’t believe we didn’t look for a flair player in the summer, that might have added the spark. Right now, it’s boring to watch

Both sides showed each other too much respect. With 10 men I’d take a point. Onto the next one!

We played most of the game with 10 men. We played the last 15 minutes with 9 men.

Would have taken a draw before ko but it was a really poor game. Our attacking play is woefully slow and Vardy would not have had a shot tonight if he was playing till midnight! Not a bad result but we really need to improve our build up play. Defensively solid though, Cags, Evans and Ricardo all very good and Kasper made a couple of very good saves despite his usual inability to pass the ball. Strange team wolves. Parked the bus 1st half and then actually tried to attack a bit 2nd half. They have some very good players but they do love a long ball and a set piece and throwing 11 men in their own penalty area!

Brendan needs to sort this Jekyll & Hyde football We’re playing tonight definitely shows we need to bring in some quality in the summer, god knows what’s happened to Youri’s performances shows we need Nididi back Vardy has lost his mojo and a few of our players need to wake up start putting in much better performances can’t take away the quality of our defence Evans & cags kept us in the game tonight !:frusty:

You think that was a good performance? You think we have been playing well recently? How anyone can watch us play like that and be satisfied is a mystery.
