NaijaFox Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Can someone explain in Plain English HOW WAS THAT NOT A PEN?!
RowlattsFox Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 We've done alright. Shown some good intent when we get the chance but you gear Man City can cut us open at any point. Vardy unlucky with his chance, just how it's going for him. He's offering very little. Solid half I'd say.
StriderHiryu Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Despite them having the lions share of possession, we did well that half and IMO looked the more dangerous. Nacho the best player on the pitch at the minute! Just a shame Vardy didn't bury his chance...
bovril Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 So we've learned today that punching someone in the throat and near-breaking someone's leg is fine.
Aus Fox Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Really good half from us, should have had at least one penalty on another day could have had 3 and their keeper sent off. Really poor officiating again, after Villa and Burnley in the last couple of weeks beginning to think we are not getting any decisions in our favour.
ozleicester Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 very happy with our half very unha[ppy with the Ref extremly unhappy with VAR just pssed off with commentators
Chester Dontlie Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Premier league referees are making themselves look like absolute clowns today yet again. We were robbed of not one but two penalties. First the Bruyne raises his hands in the box then the blatant foul on Nacho. It wasn't even reviewed ffs. ****ing fuming.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Liking how BR has set us up. We're well in this game.
Guest Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Gave as good as we got. Why wasn't the DeBruyne handball a penalty? Moved his hand towards the ball touched it and it was on target!! Iheanacho is the best player on the pitch first half.
fuchsntf Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 We've played well...mo complaints.. Shame Vardy hitting the post, with the ball having a rotten Curve on it... We are seeing Nacho, even with less chances, getting on the ball, but using what he gets...
foxfan92 Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Enjoying this game (in spite of the questionable officiating) a lot more than the last game we played against them (even though we scored early on in that one). While Ndidi's absence has at times led to them able to run at us though the middle (something you dont often see) we've more than held our own, had a fair number of chances and been very unlucky not to be a man up and had 2 penalties). We need a strong start to the second half, hoping we come out faster than they do and get an early goal to keep our tempo up.
Benguin Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Great game so far. Man City look slicker on the ball but we look really lively going forward. Title mans needs to sharpen up a bit for me. Kelechi, Praet and Pereria looking great. Jamie’s shot a cm to the left and fair refereeing and we could be 2-0 up against 10 men.
sishades Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 A vast improvement on the Wolves match but yet again a penalty should have been awarded to due the keeper assaulting Nachoman. The replay shows the keeper going for the player and not the ball as his arms are nowhere near the ball, he is clearly aiming for KI and gets away with it. A red card all day long.

You do wonder if KDB’s hands were in their natural position raised up like that
splinterdream Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Martin Tyler - yes Du Bruyne just protecting himself there, that's okay, no problem with that
Fox85 Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 KD hand ball in the box is the most unnatural position for your hands to be in. Denied 1st penalty. K.I gets his head on the ball and Ederson straight up misses the ball completly and punches and kicks K.I in the face and chest. Denied 2and penalty. What is going on with VAR are they even looking at these incidents?????? Great first half thou well done lads keep it up
Pliskin Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 So you can’t tackle hard because it’s deemed “dangerous” but you can punch a player in the face, whilst hurtling yourself through the air? Absolutely diarrhoea decision.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Assault and a handball goes unnoticed by VAR getting fed up with it ...

What with the standard of refereeing and var. they’ve royally fvcked the game up.
Lambert09 Posted 22 February 2020 Posted 22 February 2020 Imagine the scenes if Matty James came on and scored the winner.
