Somehow need West Ham to keep their loss to Man Utd below 2 goals and we are still in it however bizarre this all feels. Thomas was good again going forward and Barnes was much better. Just a bit naive which I can almost forgive.

The mistakes of Ryan Bennett and Harvey Barnes cost us today, shocking performances from both. We only have ourselves to blame for blowing a 14 point lead; however our situation has been made even harder because of injuries. I guess a trip to somewhere like Kazakhstan, is more likely than a trip to Madrid next season

Anything but champions league should be classed as a huge failure and going off what the owners said last week it wouldn't surprise me if they sack BR. 14 point gap to now out of top 4 by the last game of the season.

Tuna Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Unlucky early goal ruined the game for us, when you are away at a decent side you need your bit of luck and we got none. We're missing 4 of our regular first XI with a makeshift defence. Disappointing, frustrating but it's our own fault the way we have capitulated since the Villa away game. If we did the jobs we needed to do at Watford, Bournemouth, home to Brighton and the Norwich games we wouldn't have needed anything here.
