Popular Post urban fox Posted 18 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 18 August 2021 Don't get the "not good enough" shouldn't be anywhere near a top four chasing team" etc etc comments with respect to big Dan. He is a solid enough squad player who can fill in when needed, knows and accepts his role and doesn't kick off about getting more game time. We have three "first choice" CB when everyone is fit, just signed a first reserve in Vestergaard, plus a couple of others who can do a job there who are all probably ahead of him in the pecking order. we could go out, spend £30M+ on another quality CB but who, if they were worth that, would come here to be 4/5th choice. He is most likely on the basic salary (around 25Kpw), fits in well with the rest of the squad gives his all when called upon and does his best, often at short notice. OK so he gave away a couple of bad passes against Wolves, which unfortunately for him led to chances, but there were plenty of others who made similar mistakes but got away with it. Give him a break, he has had a rough ride of things with his horrendous injury, picked up just when he was establishing himself as a regular starter, and its not easy when you are in and out of the side. I for one am more than happy to have him, and am pretty sure that if he wanted to push for a move, there would be plenty of takers who would give him far more game time than he is ever likely to get here so he has my respect for his loyalty and commitment 10 4

Your question was completely biased and looking only for the answer that you wanted. Shit manipulation gets you shit responses.

Popular Post Will1981 Posted 23 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 23 August 2021 Thought he was the best of a very bad bunch today extremely let down by Soyuncu and the midfield in front of him, I thought he played a number of very good passes into midfield and a world class pass to release Vardy down the right wing. 6 1
baldeagle Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 (edited) Guy gets a lot of stick but I thought he was our best player tonight although that’s not that difficult as most were utter gash . Edited 23 August 2021 by baldeagle 2
Popular Post Wolfox Posted 23 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 23 August 2021 Yep…. Can’t remember him putting a foot wrong An able deputy Can you even start to imagine the pelters he’d have got if he’d cocked up like Soyuncu today 5
g7fox Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Amartey played well and his run had me off my seat The haters are not gonna see it though.
Unabomber Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Also I mean if Amartey is our best player we have had a mare
Vacamion Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Not his fault he was playing next to a Bombscare.
Pliskin Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 He was better than Cags tonight. If Vesty is fit for Saturday drop Cags.
Ric Flair Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 He was poor for the 4th goal, other than that he was alright.
lanefox Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 He was good tonight bar the 4th goal but game was gone, very off night from Cags
Deebhoy Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Honestly can't see anything being on him. He's the least of the worries and if fine as backup.
Koke Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Pass to someone else than Soyuncu please. Evans or Fofana would have found a midfielder or a marauding full backs more often. Amartey as a CB somehow manages to make so many backward passes.

Kierzz Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Yep very good game apart from the last goal. Would like to see him given a run out alongside Evans when he's hopefully back at some point. Soyuncu makes too many mistakes now.
KFS Posted 23 August 2021 Posted 23 August 2021 Nah sorry you can’t get done like he did for the 4th and play for us again
