Popular Post Wizerud Posted 6 March 2021 Popular Post Share Posted 6 March 2021 He could have so easily lost concentration when the ball somehow didn't hit anything on the way through to him but he kept his composure and finished it with the most Dan-like header ever. Feels like we stole it. Cheers Dan! Some of us had faith in ya!

All I ever ask for in lcfc shirt This 100% I can understand supporters having a go at players who aren't pulling their weight, but I don't understand how anyone can consciously have a go at players who are trying their hardest, even if they're not pulling up trees. Used to boil my piss when I heard "fans" shouting abuse at Vardy in the stands in his first season here. I think some people forget where we were a few years ago, we need the Andy Kings and Dan Amarteys - lads who will always give 100%, no guarantee they'll be in a matchday squad but won't kick up a fuss if they're left out, and obviously have a good attitude. Dan got a great reward for his effort tonight, and I couldn't be happier for him
baldeagle Posted 6 March 2021 Share Posted 6 March 2021 Goal aside I thought he was our best defender tonight the others just didn’t look with it . Probably Cag’s and Timmies worst games for us

Reliable Dan when all else fails. I thought this trying to tighten a cupboard door that needs a posi-drive but using a massively oversized flathead. It’s frustrating but you end up getting it done. Probably messing up a few screw heads along the way. The squad’s decimated and we could do a lot worse than Big Dan.
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 7 March 2021 Popular Post Share Posted 7 March 2021 It's a very clever finish, we are heinous at corners and the lack of composure from the likes of Evans, Fofana and Soyuncu when they've had to react quickly to chances this season has been frustrating but the Ghanaian Prince knew the score. Eyes on it, and stuck it in. He's got the minerals, a title winner who delivers when we need him most.

Dr The Singh Posted 7 March 2021 Share Posted 7 March 2021 He was better then Taveres. The guy gives it his all, as 4th choice, he is a good 4th choice
davieG Posted 7 March 2021 Share Posted 7 March 2021 His passes out of defence through the channels to Nacho, Vardy etc were more and better than Fofana and Cags managed.

UpTheLeagueFox Posted 7 March 2021 Share Posted 7 March 2021 Amartey didn't play well at Burnley. He played much, much better at Brighton. With everyone fit he's a sub at best. A useful squad player who wouldn't play much in usual circumstances. Puts a shift in whether he plays poorly or not - and there's been plenty over the years who haven't.
NewquayFox Posted 7 March 2021 Share Posted 7 March 2021 Doesn’t look good as part of a back 3 but does ok in a back 4 at right back, but with Ricardo fit again I would sooner see him return to his best position, you can’t say anything bad about Amartey on Twitter though as you get slaughtered, even though he was poor I the first half yesterday... sdb Posted 7 March 2021 Share Posted 7 March 2021 To be honest, first half he played like he'd been attacked by a football at a young age. Second half, 👌
Corky Posted 7 March 2021 Share Posted 7 March 2021 Definitely gets in Garth Crooks team of the week after scoring the winner where Garth mentions he scored then rambles on about Brighton's kit or something. 1
