Most improved by far. Very good move for all involved. He’s looking like a 30 million pound player at the very least. I couldn’t sleep last night and re-watched the Man City game. He was f@&£@@ immense and that turn for the goal past the legendary Fernandinho was pure porn.

Well, Did you watch last nights game, Hamza and Albrighton playing the defensive Md/F role with Youri in the middle and surprise surprise Maddison playing in front of Youri just like i suggested.  Albeit with some different personnel because of injuries.

This brings a better balance to the whole team with support and triangles everywhere on the pitch.

I believe this is our best setup with the players we have in the squad you could go with any 3 from 6 defenders + Morgan as they're all very good though offering different things. If we decide to go 4 at the back then we now have other options with the personnel we now have in the squad.

This is what I see as our best lineup going with Evans for his experience.

Im not sure which is more mad, that as it is, or flip it upside down and have Kasper up top and Vardy in nets. Would be hard to counter vs the pace of Under and Barnes at the back.

If anyone thinks Mendy and Ndidi should play together in midfield they must of not been watching for years.

It’s the old cliche ‘like signing a new player’ 
We were after Mendy before we signed Kante, always looked a decent player before all his injury woes and now we have a top player on our hands... :appl:

His turnaround this season is remarkable. He makes the whole team better with his constant running and pressing, while keeping his passing simple. His does not win as many duels as Kante or Ndidi, but he is always there putting the pressure on. Also very disciplined and seems to always be a the right space. Just see what happend in the Villa game, when Hamza had to play his role and gave Barkley too much space for him to win the game for them. I am proper impressed with how Mendy has turned his football life at the club and also by the club for giving him a new chance and showing belief in him. Important summer business, that did not feel important at the time.

Just so assured. Looks to pass forward when he can but generally does the simple things so well. Really is like a new signing.
