CITY V Burnley POST MATCH 4-2

[TrickyTrevLeftPeg]

Quality inevitably showed. Justin suspect defensively but great start to season.

[HybridFox]

Given we're still without key players, very pleasing. Bring on the Arsenal

[Aus Fox]

Some sublime football at time, but shakey at the back but Evans to come back in. 6 points from 6 and we go to the Etihad top of the league.

[Brooksy]

Not bad considering we were against 12 men. Praet, Castagne and Barnes phenomenal

[Guest Kopfkino]

Played well, a bit suspect at the back at times but pretty comfortable really and should have won by more.

Love our Belgian trio.

[NeilLCFC]

Excellent.

When Ünder is in and Ricardo is back, some teams are in for a twatting .

[foxfanazer]

Probably more nervy than it needed to be but we were much the better side. Just got bullied at the back but maybe that's to be expected. Good to see goals from players other than Vardy.

2 games 2 wins. Happy with that!

[Swarles Barkley]

Barnes was great. As was youri and timmy. Praet MOTM for me though

instrumental in 2 of the goals and making unselfish runs constantly

[worthosoriginals]

Top will be chuffed we're top

[deejdeej]

Looking forward to Dyches interview so much more than Brendans.

[Webbo]

We're a really good side and anyone who doesn't rate Praet can fck off.

[Hales]

Well that was enjoyable! Brilliant 😍

[Tielemans63]

Have to say, I thought Papy was a bit pedestrian first half but I was wrong, he was superb tonight.

[Jattdogg]

Yesssss boys 34 more to go!

[Harry96]

Can’t wait until under comes in and a actual centre back. We will be a very serious side

Footballs the winner

When's O'Shea back Izz?

[Corky]

Very entertaining, we were both thrilling going forward and terrifying at the back. But, let's be honest, rather that than the passive 0-0's we had late last season.

Barnes, Praet, Castagne, Tielemans and Mendy were all superb, Vardy in fits and starts, Perez not great but good work for the third goal, Justin was shaky but took his goal well, Schmeichel's kicking still a problem. Good that Evans is back next week.

We can go to Man City in a relaxed frame, maximum points, 7 goals in two games is great.

[StanSP]

Love it. Saw the game out eventually and looked very comfortable at times. Not many sides score 4 against Burnley!

Castagne is like Pereira with the touches around the the right hand side and with the midfield. Bursting up the flank. Same for Justin and they both played their part in the 4 goals.

Midfield again looked dominant albeit a bit sloppy at times in 2nd half.

Like that we're scoring all kinds of goals and from different areas of the pitch. We look seriously good at times.

[TheUltimateWinner]

Top of the league!

[lgfualol]

WE ARE WINNING THE LEAGUE

SAY WE ARE WINNING THE LEAGUE

[justfoxes]

Pre match I did mention we could do with a big win I said 4-0 hey I’ll take 4-2 😉come on own up who laughed at my prediction ? LoL

[FerrisBueller]

Thought Mendy, Barnes, Justin, Castagne, Praet, Tielemans, Cags were all excellent today.

It’s only shithouse FC, but a good result. We’ve got a good squad, lads.

Ünder on the right and a new CB, plus Ricardo back and we will be flying!

[Des.]

Ünder and Cags tonight

[Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo]

Never noticed before, Harvey Barnes has an outstanding set of teeth
