Earlier in this thread, there was a disparaging comment about McNeill. I thought he was class and would have fitted very well into our squad.

This could be Barnes' season, may find himself with an England cap before the season is out. Perez looked like a man who knows his position in the team is under threat (no pun intended) Somehow, although we looked a little sloppy at times much like we did last season post lockdown, there's a different feel, we seem to have our swag back, just hope it continues. Hardly a scapegoat when you’re basically at fault for two goals.

That pass to set up the second opened up a well organised team. A team that was drawing 1-1 with us. That’s a player influencing a game by sheer class.

No its more security it only takes one injury. Plus I would imagine 3 at the back is the way we will go. Good for incase someone gets injured.
