He’s still every bit as good an option as Evans or Cags, which is saying a lot.  I’m going to re-calibrate my expectations and enjoy watching him grow into greatness, even if he isn't quite there yet.  And we should get a couple of seasons to do so, because LCFC is the ideal place for him to maximize that growth.

Which is why young players shouldn't transfer to the likes of Arsenal, Man U etc. whose fans would slaughter him for every error.

I know, but we're short of bodies at the minute.

Looks a great player to me, young players are inconsistent so I can forgive it.

Yeah it's totally understandable. He's probably the victim of his incredible start to his time here where he was flawless

As opposed to who else?

Frankly, only Justin has not been poor all of the last 3 games.

foffers needs a serious reality check. Whatever he's done to change in the kist 3 games he needs to stop it! he was fine before not sure what's happened. He's not tackling enough and when he does he a second to slow plus his passing is off. He does make good charges forward and still can head the ball higher than the opposition. Keep it simple lad and stop trying too hard.

I don't think he needs replacing.

We just look disorganised and lack cohesion as a unit, which hasn't helped him.

Some assumed we'd both a 19 year old VVD. (Me included for about two games tbh). He's 19 years old. He'll make mistakes. He'll learn. And, if coached well, on the pitch rather than on the bench.

We’re playing with a system that puts a lot of strain on him, when a CB is as active and aggressive as he is it’ll go wrong occasionally. Mendy and Tielemans don’t cover ground particularly well nor do they win the ball back much so we’re asking a lot of our defenders

Not an exclusive Club with us the moment.  Brilliant player and prospect.  Evans and Fuchs have not exactly played well have they?  Plus Madders, Praet, Albrighton and Mendy are not pulling up trees.  They are tired. Give them a break and bring in the cavalry.

He can't keep diving into tackles. He will routinely be found out by any reasonable player. Even if he gets it right 9/10 times, he will be punished in the 1/10.

Him and Soyuncu are the same. Not sure it makes for a solid partnership just yet!
