The extended quotation in which Kasper says he’s only focused on Denmark winning and their reward to their nation clearly isn’t worth of mention to the clickbait media.

Fully suspect he’s back in Leicester underdog mood now

It's a great shame such a great song gets co-opted by nationalists (not patriots, please note) in much the same way they did both the Union flag and to an extent the cross of St. George. I don't believe in that version of 'love of country'.

You’d expect nothing less from him though would you? He’ll get a rough time up and down the country next season because of it but if anything I think it will spur him on to be even better than he is. I find myself in awe of him quite often because I’ve never known anybody with seemingly as much self confidence and self belief as him.

Hope he gets royally pasted by our front three tonight though lol

I am COMPLETELY torn.  I want England to win, but I dont want Kasper to lose... or be the villain!

Ps... I just bought the black keeper shirt with his name on the back! lol

I know Kasper is different, but would you have supported Algeria if they played England weeks before Mahrez binned us off?

We invented and gave football to the world, the home of football is England and it's coming home.

Think if you check, you'll find it was Yorkshire. A different country altogether.

Exactly

I love the 3 Lions song and it is without doubt the best football song ever in my opinion (the hipsters with their World in Motion opinions can do one) but it is massively misunderstood by the masses. It’s a song about Englands glorious failures and despite being let down time and again, we still support them. Also it’s coming home was a reference to the tournament being held in England, nothing more.

Yep, people forget that 2 comedians wrote the lyrics and it was meant to be a touch Ironic which doesn't go down well abroad, they just think us English are being arrogant!

I still love Mahrez more than anyone who plays for this England side even after he binned us off. Supporting one of our players over the nation would just be weird though. If we get knocked out I would cheer for Kasper in the final but not tonight.

Probably helps he's lived here for the best part of 30 years and his Dad played in Euro 96- he knows what it's all about.

Sadly, from an England perspective, he's spot on.

Its a tough one. I think my ideal would be that he plays an absolute blinder of a match, but concedes to a complete worldie that no one could possibly have saved, so he can't feel any guilt.

It's an easy one for me. He's wearing Denmark colours tonight, not Leicester.

He and his team stand in the way of my nation, of which I support getting to a tournament final. I love the guy, but tonight he's the opposition, and therefore the enemy until the game is over.

Kasper is a class act. He was very honest in that its what it means to Denmark that count not what it means to England.

He had some fun & took the piss. Good on him.
