It's just a bad match up for the most part isn't it. They play to stop you getting a kick in midfield and we generally like to knock the ball around there.

Vardy has to do better with the 2 chances hes had but atleast we've created some.

Very interesting game, first 20 minutes Liverpool on top form, suffocated us out of the game and had us on the ropes.

 

But despite that, our tactics are working and really, we should be ahead! Soyuncu, Ndidi, Ricardo all very good. Seems like Vardy doesn't have his finishing boots on today, but then neither does Salah. Game could either way as it stands, and for this is a big improvement on previous performances against Liverpool.

They have proved over the last 2.5 seasons that they can. We must stop giving the ball away and improve the passing. It has been sloppy at best.

This is a day we don't have to be pretty and try play neat football.

 

Get the ball forward earlier and quicker and we have a chance.

 

Stop the play from the back at goals kicks which are causing our own problems and go long to allow us to get up the pitch.

 

Nice to have not conceded from the 2000 corners we gave away.
