Both teams are playing shit, especially defensively, simple as that. We have better players but being severely weakened and low on confidence is a leveller, plus we gave them their goal. People saying it should be 4-1 to them are way off, we have looked vulnerable at the back, particularly with crosses which we all should have known anyway. With a change or 2 and bit of luck we can win the game

What was general opinion on the potential penalty shout for Tielemans?

Would have been soft but it would be given as a free kick if it was in the middle of the pitch. Bit of a 'seen em given' type situation.

Hamza hatchet squad out in force then,HaHa. Must be his fault for all the other shocking performances previously too eh.

Sad thing is, he was a good prospect under Puell and gone backwards under Rogers, what an indictment

I really like Hamza but he’s just not very good, even aside from the error he doesn’t offer much in possession when he takes up a number 10 position, doesn’t have the ability to open them up. No idea if Sidnei does but he might

I think it was soft, and I don't feel aggrieved at not getting it, but it's frustrating to know if thats Manè, it's a penalty all day long.

3-1-4-2, and we’re just about decent, save that one of our 8s is miles off the pace. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Hamza subbed, though it’d be a shame to waste the legs he must have.

Ricardo is still a shadow of the player he was isn’t he? He needs games, we need patience!

Wow that was a tough watch. Time to blood some young flare, if we have any.

Thinking about recording the second half and watching it on fast forward, so it appears at full speed.

Really fed up of the sideways play at the back. In contrast Pope throws the ball out and sets up attacks. Nobody has broken into a run at all. Stop, look round, and start the process of getting it back to Schmeichel.

Don't want to be too negative because of the injuries, but are we up for this? They looked more switched on.

Also when will we win a header at either end; not bothered about scoring, just want to win a header?

Be glad when it's over.

Think we are doing okay.

Hamza isn’t good enough on the ball in tight areas so can’t progress the play. Bar his mistake he hasn’t done much wrong, or right to be honest.

Think we got on top more when Youri dropped deeper, the guy is class.

The real technical basics don't seem to be there at times with Hamza, Rogers prides himself on developing players, as a 8-10 year old, as you're receiving the ball you're taught to check you're shoulder and if there is space, receive on the back foot, turn and play forwards, that is the difference between being 1-0 down v Burnley and playing in Nacho for either a goal scoring opportunity, or a throw in, in the Burnley half. If he wants to explain to him this principle, just get him to look at how Maddison receives the ball.

I hate that Kasper is so obsessed on playing those floated passes out to our wingbacks. They are so predictable and often give Burnley the ball back in a dangerous area. Sometimes, just bloody hoof it and try win possession way up the field and away from our goal.

Poor half from us really. Hamza and Amartey really struggling to play Rodgers style. They just don't have the quality on the ball that is required.

Would like to see Fofana for Amartey sooner rather than later and somehow get Hamza off too but no idea who for, without changing the shape.

Positives - Iheanacho looks like he is having an ON day, and Castagne and Ricardo getting some joy down the wings

Negatives - One big one, oh boy do we look vulnerable when the ball goes into the box!

Go to a back 4. Bring on allbrighton and fofana. Take off hamza and amartey
