Watched Neville during half time, absolutely bang on. Can genuinely see the PL acting against these clubs given the destruction they can wreak if allowed to tear up the sport

No chance. They'll bottle it entirely.

Rio speaking very well about this.

Very very eloquent - these club have misjudged the mood spectacularly.

Be good if some squads of Man U, Man City, Liverpool... all react by going on strike.

Should be like in Rugby (not sure if it still is) where if you don't play in the English league, you can't get picked for the national team.

I really like that as a club we're viewed as the very antithesis of the big 6.

Rio very vocal against it too.

I had no idea this break-away league had no relegations :o. How boring is that. How shite.

I can't see how they make £300 million revenue year on year out with that. 1st season maybe. The years after, the same teams, the same games. How dull, even the SPL is more entertaining.

I know we've reached the F.A Cup final on merit this season but surely one of the teams with better historical performance in the competition should be lining up against Chelsea in the final?

What will be interesting is, UEFA slap an immediate ban on players at the clubs playing international games, so they’d be banned for the European Championship.

Maybe not fair on the players,  however it would send them all the message.

........ it’d make for an interesting England squad as well.

This is amazing. Not a huge Gary Neville fan but he has got this so right.

This is the first time I've ever agreed with that bellend but I'm impressed with his stand there
