My daughter in laws adopted parents are from Portugal and they rate him very highly

 

And thats quite a glowing endorsement from Benfica fans..........I just hope it turns out well for him and us

I saw him in the corridor last night at half time. Thought it was him but decided it wasn't. Saw him going the other direction at the beginning of the second half and someone greeted him so I knew it was him.  He doesn't have much stature - mind you, neither did NG

Enjoyed watching Adrien play today, looked sublime at times, when he's 100% he'll be some player for us.

Good tonight. He’s the type of player who when playing well will make Mahrez / Albrighton / Gray / Okazaki better because they will get more of the ball. 

 

Last season we were running King and Amartey in the middle of the park at times. Now we can choose two or more from Silva / Iborra / Ndidi / James. We are a way better team because of it.

Had a bit of difficulty in the beginning, coping with the speed and organization of the game, then got fouled towards the end of the first half, but bit his teeth, stood up again and never looked back from thereon.

 

Some of the passes tonight, his vision and composure, the way he clicks with other players, how he can cover large distances almost effortlessly...

Phwoar. He's not spectacular, but spectacularly unspectacular. A proper engine in the middle.

 

Can't wait to see him fully fit.
