Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Antonio is the type of player we need to break down these shit teams. Just someone to get stuck in, direct fast and strong. Our tippy tappy did nothing against Norwich, it would be great to have the option to bring someone like him on. 1
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Reckon that's the bottom 3 decided if things stay as they are. 2
Leicester_Loyal Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Norwich started the season really well but they've just collapsed since Christmas, I thought they'd struggle but 21 points after 35 games is shocking.
Nalis Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 A second gifted penalty from Newcastle to Watford, Bruce will be fuming. Imagine being a Villa or Bournemouth fan watching this
KingsX Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 (edited) FML I don't recall Pearson being a "diving coach" around these parts. Guess it's a tough job when your captain's late returns to training puts him way behind the curve. He's been useless except for those two pens. Edited 11 July 2020 by KingsX
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Good Old Nige. Legend He couldn't even watch that second pen ahhaha
shailen Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Bournemouth must be deflated after seeing today's results. Could be a good chance for us to capitalise tomorrow. 4
Nalis Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Also means Bournemouth definitely have to go for a win against us tomorrow as cant rely on trying to beat Man City. Will hopefully play into our hands. 1
Nalis Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 No doubt Deeney will get match of the man but I'm torn between thinking if he deserves it for two penalties when he's been shit outside that? Not like he was shit and scored 2 goals in open play then again but another player have put 2 penos away under such pressure?
Ted Maul Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 God I ****ing love Nigel Pearson. Delighted for him, not just in probably keeping Watford up but in restoring his reputation. Hopefully we do our bit tomorrow. Good riddance to Norwich- I like them as a club, good away day and I'm fond of the city from my uni days, but Jesus wept they've been an absolute stain on the league this year. Utterly disgusting that we only took 1 point off them. 2 1
sishades Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Boos all around at Carrow Road. Bye Bye and good riddance. Made my day.,
Super_horns Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Most of our fans want Deeney out but probably a few not so vocal today. We get 2 pens today probably for less obvious fouls than the wrestling by Norwich and Southampton players that have gone unnoticed in previous games.

Tielemans63 Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Watching Jake Humphries live reaction to seeing Norwich relegated is golden. 2
Blue ROI Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Watford might have doubts about Big Nige but they have been far harder to beat since he got involved. There might be an occasional no show like with us in 14/15 but he's done an excellent job once again. They looked like a lost cause after our game yet all but safe now. Congrats @Super_horns
Arkie Bennett Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 No sympathy at all for Norwich after the way they ganged up on Iheanacho.
Chester Dontlie Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 I have to say I appreciate the no-nonsense way Deeney took his penalties. Not a lot of technical ability but 100% of the power Good to see them 3 points safer. Now we have to pop the Cherries and everyone will be happy 1
Fox92 Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Norwich probably planned for this tbf. Stormed Championship, spent less than a million, down with parachute payments and will probably make top 6 next season then have a better go at staying up. A bit like Burnley did. Disappointed to lose Norwich as an away day though as Carrow Road is a great ground.
Corky Posted 11 July 2020 Posted 11 July 2020 Looks like Big Nige has done his job, whether he gets the job beyond is in doubt but he's survived twice barring a collapse. 4
