Katy 416 Posted 13 July 2020 Report Share Posted 13 July 2020 You can tell Cags and Google translate wrote that between them, not one of his ‘people’ and it was sincere. Brendan had better get this lot in this morning for the post-mortem but knowing him he’ll give them the day off because, you know, they deserve it 😖
RumbleFox 7,440 Posted 13 July 2020 Report Share Posted 13 July 2020 Still love the big man. Stupid thing to do and hopefully he learns from it but he’s had a great season overall. X

If this is his mentality when the going gets tough then sell him, Fergie would. Fergie stood by Cantona, Keane, etc. Vardy seed red mist too but less as he has got older. I think we need to cut him some slack - hopefully he learns from his mistakes.
RowlattsFox 2,469 Posted 13 July 2020 Report Share Posted 13 July 2020 He made a mistake, you have to punish him but not hold it against him unless it becomes a regular thing. He's not the first and wont be the last to lose his head. Instinct took over unfortunately when he's shoved into the goal for no apparent reason. Doesn't excuse the pathetic responce of every one else afterwards.
Ian Nacho 3,912 Posted 13 July 2020 Report Share Posted 13 July 2020 Just listening back to Radio Leicester and some bloke called Soyuncu, Tunchev

Both have been directly at fault for a few goals and Kasper has had to get them out of trouble too often (not today of course) and we've severely lacked defensive leadership over the second half of the season and been conceding too many soft goals since Christmas (we're 14th in the 2020 table). However I really don't think the back 3 suits either Soyunchu or Evans at all. Both look completely lost in it. I think this is more a direct result of replacing Ricardo with Justin. Who is promising, but it's still replacing our best player with a League 1 player with no PL experience. Many of the soft goals have come from this IMO. We've also lost Chilly and regardless of what anyone thinks about him, the team having to rapidly adjust to playing with someone different and a completely new formation doesn't help. cruzFOX 281 Posted 13 July 2020 Report Share Posted 13 July 2020 He's manned up like Kasper and apologized thats enough for me. He does care and lets ben honest he was probably pissed at Evans for not clearing that header and leaving it all for him to do which he had no chance. Getting shoved into the net just sent him over the edge. It was catastrophic moment of madness as it put us a man downed and ended his season but we can't make him a scapegoat to take all the blame. foxfanazer 13,250 Posted 13 July 2020 Report Share Posted 13 July 2020 Can't fault Caglar tbh. Hasn't let us down many times this season. Momentarily lost his head but we have bigger problems than that
Sunbury Fox 1,572 Posted 13 July 2020 Report Share Posted 13 July 2020 Genuinely can't believe that people are wanting to bin off Cags after one moment of madness. The bloke has been monumental all season.

We would be crazy to sell him given how bad our squad depth there is anyway, but it does indicate there's a short fuse there which probably means we need another CB in the event he does something like this again. CheeseHead 40 Posted 13 September 2020 Report Share Posted 13 September 2020 Watching Soyuncu today, I have to say he's looking like an absolute class central defender. Pace, skill, reading the game better than ever. Though not really tested today, he looks the finished article already. Horrifying thought that we could lose both Soyuncu and Ricardo next summer ! 😱
Popular Post StriderHiryu 17,555 Posted 13 September 2020 Popular Post Report Share Posted 13 September 2020 Yep he was brilliant today, you could see he was a class above everyone else of the defensive players on show. Always so calm and reassuring. Honestly think he’s the best ever CB to play for us - he’s got everything and is a right character to boot. The irony is because he’s not English he will probably go for less than Maguire even though he’s the far superior player. West Brom might have been poor but today he looked like the leader of the back 4 today, meaning he doesn’t even need Evans to be good, he’s good regardless of whom he plays with.
