Silebyfox_89 Posted 18 August 2020 Share Posted 18 August 2020 Its about getting the right balance in the team, think a experienced LB would do wonders other areas in the team. It helps a young Barnes on the same side of the pitch and helps with the loss of Ricardo to stretch teams more.

Desabafar Posted 18 August 2020 Share Posted 18 August 2020 (edited) we shouldn't sign anyone over 26 for any sort of money. 25m for a 28 year old left back isn't great Edited 18 August 2020 by Desabafar

It wasn't Silva's height as such. Ricardo is hardly Peter Crouch level after all. It was Silva's lack of presence. His physique was Effette. Effeminate. Man made of straw. If you think of it as spending 25 mil to allow thomas to develop properly rather than throwing him into the deep end next year which could end up being a 5-6 year investment it looks a lot better. chapero82 Posted 18 August 2020 Share Posted 18 August 2020 (edited) Tagliafico wants it Leicester and also other teams in Europe. El Rojo has 12 percent of a future sale and the money would help him get through the financial crisis article says.. Nicolás Tagliafico could be transferred to football in England and the operation would leave a significant amount of money for Independiente. One of the interested teams is Leicester, although there are also other clubs that want Ajax's left back. El Rojo took 12 percent of a future sale and there is talk of an operation that would be around 30 to 40 million euros. The Avellaneda entity could receive a sum ranging from 3,600,000 to 4,800,000 euros and would mean a real relief for the finances of the institution. Nicolo Barella Posted 19 August 2020 Share Posted 19 August 2020 Tagliafico has a couple of weaknesses (whilst he's strong defensively, there are some things he could be better at), but on the whole would be a fantastic replacement for Chilwell - different profile, but if we have a wide threat from both fullbacks it makes our play from the inside so much easier, we can really stretch teams.

Popular Post Dan LCFC Posted 19 August 2020 Popular Post Share Posted 19 August 2020 (edited) I am an advocate of spending sensibly and wanting resale value but you have got to take each transfer on its own merits and to me Tagliafico is basically the ideal player I think we can sign to have us good for the next 3/4 seasons before Thomas eventually takes over - hopefully the process happens by having more games anyway in Europe. Also I think we do need a bit more nous about us. We're a ridiculously naive side even now - he's got experience playing in massive games and experience playing in a team that wins trophies. We've got to do this if it's about £25mil. Feels like another Ricardo like buy. So many good points to the move. Just get this or Telles done. I am convinced he will be an upgrade on Chilwell.
