Think the original diagnosis was back in December, but as he's not included in the EL squad they can't expect him back till around Xmas time I'm guessing. It would be nice for him to come back ASAP, would give us another option at CB.

Not every player has to be a starter, and having another decent centre back in the squad to deal with the many games we have is always a good place to be. Quietly impressive! 17

With Soyuncu still injured Amartey is in my opinion our 3rd best CB currently available and is an absolute natural at playing in a 3 (thats where played when he got in he got in the afcon team of the tournent with Ghana). This means we don't have to entertain playing Ndidi or Justin out of position there or over rely on an ageing fuchs. also he can play right back a position we have been short of all season with only Justin available whose been absolutely rinsed having played 23 games for club and Country already this season. 5
