Some thoughts....

 

I hope we land a CB this week - got a feeling that we won't hold back.

Rodgers is clearly capable of learning from past errors.

Really hope the injuries aren't too bad.

Very pleased we lost to Arsenal midweek, priorities seem clear.

Whoever called Mendy 'a lump of coal on legs' needs a very big mirror.

Amartey stepping up after what must have been a massive trauma is a massive feel-good moment.

We have a plan B that the players can execute.

I think that's the first goal Vardy has ever scored at that end of the stadium.

 

Cannot be bothered baiting knee-jerkers - it's a fruitless waste of breath. Enjoy your evening, everyone.

Personally I think the negativity was part of the plan and thought he played it spot on,  but you can't plan for such a superstrike. If we'd have attacked more initially I think they would have razored us. The 'negativity' took the sting out of them and frustrated them. There was no rush, we were there to try and win not look easy on the eye. The pundits said that Manchester City had 5 attempts on target all game which is brilliant against a side like them. Incredible discipline.

I’m a little in shock at our start to the season... with the poor end to last season and lack of transfers I was expecting us to struggle... similar to how it was when we won the championship...

His record against the “Big 6” speaks for itself. The fact he has more goals in less games than main strikers for some of the best premier league teams ever is huge. Love it.

Tielemans, Vardy and Castagne were obviously all excellent but I’d like to also say Mendy was very good, again! 
 

That turn in midfield that set the attack up for the 1st penalty was stunning. Broke the press instantly and we were away. Quality.
