Three vital points are at stake, and while we will go into the game as underdogs, let’s not forget that we have beaten Man City already this season, that they recently lost to a team we just convincingly knocked out of the FA Cup and, perhaps most significantly of all, their biggest game of the season (v Dortmund in the Champions League) takes place three days after this one.

100% stick with the same side unless Maddison or Praet are match fit then swap them in for Perez. Maybe Ricky for Albrighton. 

 

Given what we did to them at their gaff, definitely stick to the 352 with Nacho and Vards up top.

Usually I fear playing these, but I'm actually not that bothered after yesterday. There's no reason we can't get at least a point here, a win would be magical.

It will be a very difficult game but they aren't untouchable. I think we are currently deploying the best system for us to get something vs them, like we did earlier in the season but it will require the back 5 to be nigh on flawless as they will try to exploit the space between wing backs and centre halves. 

 

We will have a game plan though I'm sure and who knows what will happen. A point would be a very good result, a win phenomenal. 

 

Maddison potentially being back is a huge boost.

We use every bit of motivation to amp ourselves for this battle. They may have high confidence and the players to change things but we have spirit and determination. if rogers puts together another masterclass where we frustrate them until they break then we pounce! like others have said Pep loves to

goad teams into playing into their trap. Its too easy for them. if we play tight, hold firm, close the spaces and not show any respect they will get pissy.

For sure Pep will throw his entire trillion dollar subs bench at us but we don't flinch. There defense has not been tested enough and only manu made good use

of their opportunities and scored. This is the game we need our Vardy to re-ignite. I swear if he gets one he's gonna go guns blazing for more. Nacho will have

a massive point to prove to his old team now too. It's gonna be a good game and all eyes will be on it. Whoever gets to mark Mahrez needs to know his strengths and his weaknesses. Study up!

I wouldn't take too much comfort from the fact they play Dortmund three days later. I looked at their bench at Everton and there's no question that Man C's second XI would be in the top 4/6

We would need to park the bus and sit back and then win the game with the old fashioned Vardy counter attacks like the good old days. Shame Barnes is injured because his pace is vital for this tactic.

Their defence seems to struggle at times in containing offensive teams.

Their rotated squad is often brilliant, likewise we rotate or have to switch it up through relentless injuries and yet we keep on delivering. Doesn't make that much difference to either side. Will be a very good game.

Looking at the Blue Moon Forum a couple of things stand out 

 

* A lot of them seem to really hate us? Not sure if that's historical or due to the 2 - 5 - They seem to think we were diving rather than their own players diving in? 

* They are supremely confident - Around 72% thing they'll win which is reasonable in view of the run they've been on 

* A number of posters believe we are the 2nd best team in the league after them 

 

It appears as though they are playing Dortmund on the Tuesday after our game so they are concerned about injuries from the International break and that the Dortmund game is the priority

Might not be popular but Fuchs is the man to do a job on Mahrez hes done it before by knowing his game and getting tight very quickley.Risky though.

Maybe 2 or 3 years ago! Fuch's hasn't got the legs anymore. Mahrez would have him on toast

If we have no further injuries we stand a chance. But an injury to Tielemans and/or Ndidi, or another defender gets crocked, and I fear we could crumble. Our bench is looking very weak.
