We've got the 6th fewest goals conceded in the league. This game defensively is an anomaly.

Midfield two atrocious. Wes spent. Simpson cant play football.

 

Poor organisation of the back four and yet another slow start which comes down to the manager, but several poor individual performances yet again.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Puel went after that, but I have some sympathy for him - he looked utterly exasperated at the lack of closing down in the middle, but ultimately it's up to him to pick the players and get them to do it.

 

Another last minute loss which is difficult to take as we deserved a point.

Well that was game of the season, just sad that we lost it! I feel knackered after watching that! It was the best going forward we've been since Southampton away last season. All of the forward players did well. Anyone who thinks that was boring needs to have a word with themselves.

 

As for our defence... totally shambolic. All of them, Simpson, Maguire, Morgan and Evans culpable for conceding. But you can't blame the manager for that, they were all individual errors and Puel was telling them to calm down at the 90 minute mark.

 

We won't go down this season, so it's all about trying to bed in new players and improve. Gray was good today, Barnes had an impact. Get behind the team I say!

Not weighing in on the in/out debate and I  dont care what anyone says, but the players HUGELY let Puel down today. Shocking at the back. Morgan caught out by Sunday league long balls time and time again. Feel sorry for Puel think today might be it for him.

We want Puel out because we are a ****ing hopeless team under his leadership and we are regressing as a club in a time when we have unbelievable potential to push on.

 

The snobbery from Carragher is ****ing disgraceful, acting as though we have no right to want to better ourselves and suggesting we should be happy because we've been involved in a 7 goal game.

 

Top absolutely has to get rid of him. That was a ****ing disgraceful performance today.

Well. Not sure what Puel told them at half time but it somehow wasn't enough. Absolutely comical, comical defending all game. Chilwell had a mediocre game, Maguire was meh, Morgan and Simpson both carried on their Newport form. Mendy was meh. Ndidi was meh.
