Premier League Thread 2019/20

Manchester United fans have been urged to walk out in the 68th minute of their upcoming Premier League clash vs Wolves in protest at the club’s ownership. Protesters are being urged to leave the match to show their frustrations at much-maligned owners the Glazers, as well as executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.  (talksport.com)

Given that the stands start to empty at about that point of most United home matches already … how is this supposed to get management’s attention?

Just a thought after our semi final defeat, if Villa were to turn over Man City in the final... unlikely, but anything can happen in a one off game. Then only the top 6 and not 7th would get a European place.

With us, Wolves, Sheff United and even Southampton not far off 5th.
There is every chance that Spurs, Arsenal and Man Utd all miss out on Europe this season.

If, say Southampton were to win the Fa Cup only top 5 would see European action this season.

The Liverpool coverage this season... :nigel: One hour prematch TV studio before our game against Chelsea and it is all about Liverpool. They even had the Liverpool throw-in coach (because he is Danish) on for a discussion instead on having a closer look at Leicester and Chelsea. Can't wait for Liverpool to finally win this thing, so we can all move on. Christ.

These days at Old Trafford you're better off staying till the end to avoid the traffic.

Brighton are in the bottom 3 as it stands. I hadn't realised they had slided down the table so quickly.

Really? Feels as if they've been about 15th or below since the start of the season, they definitely play some tidy stuff though. It's a weird division this season.

Could have done with playing Villa today. We may have drained them on Tuesday OR they are just an average team who are no better than losing to Bournemouth so we should have put them away.
