Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 Let Madders rest. We need to develop options as it never helps to be over reliant on any one player. Lord knows we'll realise this when Vards is retired/crocked.

Say what you want about Spurs but for them to go there and win 1-0 shows that they have the capability to sh*thouse us
UniFox21 Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 We'll have to be at our best to get something. They'll happily come down and sit back waiting for a fuk up from us.
foxinsocks Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 Bbc news at 4.30 says madison a big injury worry and bredan was talking up the other players
PhillippaT Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 I won't be able to watch this - I'm now busy all day on Sunday - thank's Mum!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 Plenty of options if Maddison is out, that’s what I love about our current squad, decent players to come in.
AyewJoking Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 Choudhary in for maddison, relying on an out of form tielemans for creativity. Bring praet on as sub and expect him to so something. Lose 1-0

Fox seen in Norwich Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 Praet for Maddison (if injured) otherwise unchanged
Cincinnati Fox Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 Tielemans is a better player further forward so will be nice to see that and Praet if Maddison is out.
Gazza M Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 I think we need width to get in behind them and someone wide we can switch the ball to on either flank. Kasper Ricardo Evans Soyuncu Chilwell Ndidi Tielemans Albrighton Perez Barnes Vardy Subs: Ward, Justin, Morgan, Praet, Choudhury, Gray, Iheanacho
OadbyBlue Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 Would love to see Perez playing in his natural position in behind vardy, other than that same as last week with Albrighton replacing Maddison and Perez moving central
ARM1968 Posted 27 September 2019 Posted 27 September 2019 Just fuching win it and bin it. 3pts, no excuses about buses.

Deeg67 Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 I still don't think we need Wilf for this one. Bring him in as a sub if we're protecting a lead.

Against Sheffield BR brought Wes on to make a 3, to resist a late onslaught to widespread acclaim. I'm not saying marking Carroll is easy, but Benkovic isn't ready so that is a bit academic
Guest Cujek Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 I expect them to bring every bus in the North East to this game. We struggle to break down teams as we have no target man. Play Wes upfront smash in Cross after cross, we will have most of the possession and dictate the game but with their 10 defenders playing so deep there will be no space for Vardy. Nacho isn't strong enough to muscle is way around and we have no other option upfront so the Wes comment is only a semi joke. I can see this becoming a very frustrating game for us.
Shane Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Rodgers loves the diamond. It's one of the first things be talked about post match vs Spurs Wouldn't be surprised to see us play that system tomorrow
Clarkey123 Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Anyone have any news on soyuncu for this game? Need to know for my dream team haha
Steve Earle Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Just a hunch but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 343 tomorrow with Wilf sitting deep near the CBs, both FBs playing as wing backs, and Vardy Perez & Barnes as a front 3. Plan B might involve two orthodox wingers coming on to stretch them even more.

Disagree Newcastle will utilise their quick wingers on the break. No anchorman leaves three opposition players potentially in Man for Man situations. I think we will. Simply because Newcastle will play the same tactics as they do against us but this time don’t have Rondon up front
Spicer Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 If Maddison is out... Kasper Ricardo Evans Soyuncu Chillwell Ndidi Albrighton Teilemans Praet Barnes Vardy Ward, Justin, Morgan, Choudary, Gray, Perez, Nacho
st albans fox Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Either benko may be on the bench tomorrow or he isn’t fit enough to play twice in five days (not in the U23 today)
KFS Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Would be nice to win this given today’s results
