Brilliant today, exceptional on the ball and really bossed the midfield.

Stepped up creatively in Maddisons absence and he covered some miles in this game. He is getting back to his best. Im delighted he is back in the 1st team and showing the form that got him a permanent deal with us.

He was absolutely class today. Would start for any team in the league of he was performing like that week in week out. His best performance of the year and was one of the key reasons why we were so dominant today.

I think Youri is much more comfortable in a midfield two - seems to understand his responsibilities better, and him and Wilf seem to have really clicked. 

 

He was back to his best today. Long may it continue.

It amazes me that we are so high up the table without Youri playing as well as he did today. If you told me at the start of the season we’d be top 4 with two games to go I’d have thought he’d have to be one of the outstanding players in the division which he showed several times last season.

 

This was Tielemans at his irrepressible best. The reason why we paid so much money for him. On his day he’s a genuine world class player. Two more performances like that please this season Youri!

Really purring today. Lean, mean and more comfortable in his role.

 

In many ways this game sat up nicely for him, and he worked really hard to get that result. Massively impressed.
