Everton Match Thread

Played really well and with the huge volume of chances we've created since the restart, I've no doubt we'll turn this around.  Praet for Hamza in the 85th minute should do it.  I'd also leave Kel on the bench if we need a goal (s).  Good half.

Any comparison with Puel should always include the fact he wasn't liked by virtually everyone. Rodgers has been praised hugely for his man-management so either the players are being instructed to play this dross or all that stuff was exaggerated.

We are just getting worse. No heart, no balls, no quality. Someone needs to give them a kick up the rear but that won’t be Rodgers who looks as nonplussed as the rest of them.

Thing is, this is some of the best football we’ve played since the Villa game. This is so frustrating. Needless penalty given away. We’re badly missing Ricardo as well

3 suns for me, nacho man, maddison and perez for Vardy Prate and Albrighton. Justin looks out his depth, Albrighton is awful. Would have been a different game if vast scores at the start, instead he took an awful touch and don’t get a shot off

Not our finest half of football, but we are still well in this. We just need some desire, the balls are going on to the box but no one is attacking them.

Praet our best player, Chilwell playing very well too.
Vardy anonymous again, is Barnes playing and JJ has been dreadful.
Changes and attacking ones needed. Time to earn your money Brendan!

All possession, no substance.

One shot on target and that was from Evans lol

Justin has turned into the second coming of Michael Lamey.

Barnes has turned into the second coming of Josh Low.

Too predictable in our plays.

Need to get Tielemans and Barnes involve more. We need to change shape. This formation is easily defended by opposition, not just Everton, these days.

Penalty was harsh.

Nothing more to say.
