Guest Kopfkino Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Liverpool too good, miles ahead of anyone else in the league. However, felt comfortable 1-0 down, not too much bother and could build ourselves back into it, then Albrighton defends like a 4 year old and it looks like game over
Chrysalis Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 17 passes liverpool had without been challenged by single lcfc player in lead up to 2nd goal. men against boys
volpeazzurro Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Overall, with the exception of Fofana and Mendy, very poor display really. Fuchs and Maddison poor, Evans not on song, Tielemans anonymous. Perhaps too much international football for the latter two.
RowlattsFox Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 A step too far for the back 5 unfortunately, been run ragged by the pace and movement. We haven't been able to get the ball and when we do everything is rushed. Very few teams play like Liverpool, it's easy to defend with 5 when the opponent is passing it around but they don't mess around. Just avoid a battering now please.
Hales Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 If we are going to lose let's go down fighting. Praet and Under on and let's get at them! 3

lozzyblue fox Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 you could just see this happening with everyone saying we were going to win this. People making it sound like we would only have to turn up, but unfortunately we haven't turned up.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Honking, really. Justin has been alright, that's genuinely about it. We've reverted to last season's archetype of rabbit in headlights stuff against the big boys. It was probably due, but we've offered nothing. Kasper's kicking is diabolical, Barnes needs to start sticking the ball in the net, and Maddison is a terrible fit for these games.
Countryfox Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Fuchs Evans and even Albrighton showing their age in this one ...

CloudFox Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Also, that was a handball and a penalty for us earlier right? I swear in any other instance this season it's been given...so why not this time? Am I going mad? 2
TeamRocket Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Glad I didn't watch it on now tv would be even more vexed about it going to bed
Fightforever Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 We are just nervious. Our players see their badge and have shit themselves. 1
justfoxes Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Ffs just got home come on Brendan give them a kick up the arse to wake up half time we’re gonna win this 2-3 😉 plus I’m sorry to say this I know a lot of people have a love fest for Johnny Evans but at times I think you such a liability goes gung ho without thinking and it hurts is just like that goal did disappointing first half things can only get better in the second come on you foxes let’s get the win feed Barnes and Vardy let’s come out second half hit them hard !!
Sampson Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 If you want to know why Barnes and Maddison aren't getting picked for England, just watch that first half. Both have potential, but both have way too many flaws in their game right now compared to the players their competing with. 1
jayfox26 Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Liverpool will not have an easier 45 minutes all season. That was pathetic. I've no issues at all losing at Anfield but we have at least got to make them work hard. Theyve not got out of 2nd gear and have been gifted 2 goals by awful defending. Albrighton needs replacing and Tielemans hasnt turned up at all. He looks leggy which could is probably because Belgium insist on playing him every game!

Bourbon Fox Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Just now, ARTY_FOX said: Looks like we have no gameplan at all The gameplan is, compact banks of 5 and 4, don't press the man with the ball and double up on the passing options. We've absorbed most of the talent and pressure, had a couple of tasty breaks - Barnes' miss springs to mind. We're losing to a freak unforced own goal, and Albrighton's departure from the plan to rush in and press, getting beaten when he rashly committed and allowed the killer cross. There was a plan but against this level of opposition you need 100% discipline and a dash of luck. We've had neither.
bfox Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 (edited) Always the same vs Liverpool, bit of a bogey team. We shit our pants, get some naff decisions against us, Liverpool get the rub of the green, we lose Edited 22 November 2020 by bfox 2
KrefelderFox666 Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 Reality check. Liverpool have shown us up big time. Forget injuries, they are still well ahead of us. Similarities to last year when we went to Anfield as "title challengers". Let's keep grounded. Top 4 is a massive challenge but possible this year if we play consistently. 1
Carl the Llama Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 We've not been very productive but let's be fair: With a decent ref and a bit better luck for Evans and this is a very different game, 2-0 flatters Liverpool. 1
Tom12345 Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 1 minute ago, fox_up_north said: Can the commentators PLEASE, FFS, stop talking about Liverpool's "injury crisis". Yeah. We are missing Soyuncu, Ricardo, Castagne and Ndidi
SecretPro Posted 22 November 2020 Posted 22 November 2020 We look very poor. Not sure why we haven't pressed, and hoofing everything and bypassing Youri and Maddison was never going to work. Poor tactics today I'm afraid, haven't worked hard enough, haven't seen anywhere near enough of the ball. Came out frightened instead of being up for it, against a weak Liverpool side. Woeful all round. 1
