lanefox Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Im glad people are finally seeing how good he is, especially for his age , his runs at the back post are going to just get better and better
Ric Flair Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 He's mustard ain't he? Proving me and many wrong every week this season.

Give the man some credit, Chilwell has developed brilliantly under Puel. Far cry from the man who couldn't take a throw in at Millwall because of the crowd 18 months ago
dmayne7 Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 I will never get any people were writing him off. Yes he made mistakes but it was so plain to see that it was just rawness and inexperience.

Not to mention klopp wanting Chilwell as a replacement as left back and the rave reviews he earned under Wagner What was the alternative to an aging Fuchs
Corky Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Cannot fault him this season, very impressed with his progress.
rachhere Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Might need to edit the title of this thread... Taking the season as a whole so far, I'd say he's been our best performer. Still love Fuchs though. Going to miss that guy!
koop. Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 he is seriously good. Him and Maguire are absolute class acts

Charl91 Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 I thought he was never going to make it. I'd say he is without a doubt our best player so far this season.
lgfualol Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Super consistent so far. Glad the club didnt dump him on loan in the championship like people wanted. Will leave for a hefty fee within the next 3 years.
Tuna Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 I agree with all of the above, I had written him off and am delighted to have been proven wrong. He's improved massively, and has broken into the England team and looked comfortable. He'll get better as well.
Deeg67 Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 To me our best player so far this season, and it isn't especially close.
MPH Posted 4 November 2018 Posted 4 November 2018 He reminds me of a young Andy Cole with his forward runs!
Vardinio'sCat Posted 4 November 2018 Posted 4 November 2018 Rampant now, most of the mistakes are gone, and the opposition are more scared of him than vice versa.
Ted Maul Posted 4 November 2018 Posted 4 November 2018 He's been our best player this season. No debate.

Even now some still wants fuchs over him It's not as obvious as you said
foxfanazer Posted 4 November 2018 Posted 4 November 2018 Great assist yesterday. Our player of the season so far
brookfox Posted 4 November 2018 Posted 4 November 2018 Reaping the rewards of what sounded like a summer of getting himself fit. Credit to him as it’s added so much now he can get up and down the left for 90 minutes. It’s almost a similar transition that Bale went through. Well played sir!
Strokes Posted 4 November 2018 Posted 4 November 2018 Plenty of humble pie here, I thought he was a fanny before but he has taken his game up several notches this season. Fair play to him.
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 November 2018 Posted 4 November 2018 He’s been worked in well and been given time to improve, starting off as a Fuchs understudy to cementing the position for himself . Everyone involved in his development has played it perfectly from keeping him here and not loaning him out to managing game time. Not something Puel deserves full credit for but he’s certainly played his part in putting a bit of extra faith in him.
Jonezy Posted 4 November 2018 Posted 4 November 2018 He has turned into a monster this season. I used to get excited when Mahrez got the ball, now I get excited when Chilwell gets it.
Bryn Posted 4 November 2018 Posted 4 November 2018 I reckon he nails down England's left back spot this season. He looks a hell of a player and he's consistent and reliable. Why try and work around Shaw's fitness and whether or not Rose is in the first team when Chilwell is outplaying them both anyway?
