Criminal they didn't give it to Kasper. Ball was clearly over.

Schmeichel has really stepped up in the past two weeks since the return- performances are commanding, kicking much better and attitude spot on.

Love his monster goal kicks to Vardy- that one yesterday must've travelled 80 yards before bouncing.

People don't mention it that much, because we've gone on and lost or drawn our games since the restart. Truth is, he has kept us in those games with some great stops.
He's also been very good with his distribution and reading of the game. If we're lucky, we can keep him in his prime for a couple more years along with Vardy.

Yeh he's been brilliant. Been making some top saves and that penalty save for a point v Brighton could be huge

Couple more seasons as our number 1 and he'll be in our top 5 appearance makers of all time.

He's a Leicester great

He's been easily our best player since the restart. He hit the ground running where most of the rest are only getting up to speed now. His concentration is superb, if he can improve his coming for crosses, then he'll be up there with the best.

He also contributes to 4 or  5 Goals a season which shouldn't be ignored.

The guy is an absolute legend. Up there with my favourite ever players.

Doesn't mean he's not above criticism, but you can never fault his commitment.

Against Everton, he was the only guy I could hear talking.

His standard has been incredible since he joined us. Compare that to someone like De Gea...

He doesn't get the recognition he deserves for his consistency, we'll miss him when he leaves and probably only fully appreciate him then.

This is very true.

People often moan about his limitations but they tend to overlook just how great he's been for us a long time.

Trying to replace him, like with Vardy, will be a big ask.

kasper easily most under appreciated player by our own fans, but think that is fairly typical for a keeper and no slight on our fans. very rarely makes mistakes and very often wins us points

gonna end up being one of most capped leicester players of all time as well

Not saying he is the best keeper in the world but I really don't see who we could possibly get who is better. Add in the fact he's the ultimate pro and leader and he's irreplaceable. Particularly with losing King form the dressing room and Wes probably next year (ignoring the idea of these players potentially having too much influence) and there's nobody I'd replace him with. Certainly not for a couple of years at least.

Watching the Tunnel Cam videos, you see how switched on and vocal Kasper is before every game.

He's the type of person who leads by example and by taking responsibility. He never seems in doubt that we can win a game. Imagine that confidence radiating to players who are doubting our chances.

I might be wrong, but I think Rodgers' influence is noticeable here too.
It feels like there is much more tactical chat between players before and during games - especially by the experienced players.
It's clear that Rodgers appreciates the massive experience of Schmeichel, Evans, Morgan, Vardy et al and what that brings to the team.

I think we all take him for granted at times, he's having a great season!

When people talk about our brilliant transfer business with regards to Vardy, Kante, Mahrez et al, people tend to forget we only paid around 1.7 million for Kasper!

373 games, 205 of those in the PL with 63 PL clean sheets, 25 on the list of PL keepers with most clean sheets!

Would love him to copy Vardy and get in the goalkeeper 100 club for cleansheets, only 15 have done it so far, maybe going to need 3 or 4 more sessions to achieve it so its big ask!
