Soyunchu has been sh1t for months now.

I think people only ever liked him because his hair looked cool. Evans masked the fact that he's actually a very poor defender.

He just looks slow, mentally and physically.

I think this is unfair.

He was genuinely excellent for about 18 months and he made barely any errors at all in that time. One player cannot "mask" another "very poor" player, no matter how good that other player is. Evans didn't have Soyuncu on strings winning headers like Weekend at Bernies.

I don't think I can ever remember a Leicester player who has dropped off so drastically as Soyuncu has though.

I still think there's an excellent defender in there somewhere again, but he just looks shot and probably needs to go elsewhere for the good of his career.

I dont think he was much better, I think he was just surrounded by better players.

Now we are on our knees, you would have expected him to step up but all he has done is prove we aren't actually any worse off than when he's missing. In fact, I'd argue we are better with Armatey, Choudhury or Ndidi playing in his position which, in itself, says enough.

I think he's always looked clumsy, even at his 'best'.

Never replicated his form in 19/20. Cash in. A new contract would be moronic.

Positioning is awful and he dives in all the time.

Fofana/New CB x2/Amartey/Evans & Brunt/Nelson would be how I’d approach next season.

Deservingly got in the 19/20 team of the season.

Since then though it’s all been downhill from there, he’s been through injuries himself; however form wise has stemmed from the back end of last season, that continued into the Euros with Turkey, now has continued into this season with us.

I hate it when players recklessly step out of position, he is the king of it. Some of his decision making is far too erratic.

A bit like the situation with Chilwell, it’s reached the point now where I wouldn’t mind him leaving.

Big turnover of players coming in the summer I feel. He’s another one who’ll have a year left so will need moving on.

I hope so. There are few players that needs moving on. We basically need at least 2 quality CB that will start games. Tielemans is obviously going. Schmeichel days here are coming to an end. This team needs a rebuild. I'm not sure Rodgers is the man to do it.

To name a few: Soy, Vestergaard, Youri will push to leave. Could argue Ricardo could be let go to.

Really important our recruitment is up to scratch.

Indeed… I just hope we sign players with a bit about them. I’m fed up with us being too nice, which could be down to the fact that we lack leaders.

Said it before but I'd get rid if possible (and we sign an actual quality CB). Soyuncu has to many errors in his game.

One good season and everybody talked him up when in reality he's not actually that good.

Need to find a buyer, we paid £19m for him from memory? We'd probably get £15m now. Vital that we sign at least 1 centre back ASAP, can't take much more of this garbage.

It’s just another moment of many idiotic moments. In reality he’s shown flashes of being good, and that was largely down to the whole team being solid, when that happens he is a reasonable CB. But unfortunately on his own he just isn’t actually that good. He’s rash, chases the ball around like Robbie savage, and just makes suicide pass after suicide pass. One of a few players who needs to be sold in the summer to generate some funds to reinvest.

Although I think he's been poor for a long time now, but he's been rushed back into defense after injury and he's next to Mr slow mo.  I still think he probably needs moving on in the summer.

Crap this season! If he wants to go that’s fine with me, no way should a guy with his experience play with so much naivety, looks ragged and always last ditch stuff

Been poor but we haven't had a settle back 4 or 5 which doesn't help

Not including the League Cup, we have fielded 13 different combinations in 27 games.

Wow…. That really goes to the heart of the problem. Successful teams always have a solid CB partnership
