That's one thing I don't get, surely if that was the case it would've been pumped around the media by his lawyer/PR etc? 1

The fact she flew back before the trail even started to me shows that it's all made up. They would have had her as a witness. 4

Hardly seems a fair trial from afar. I wouldn't trust European police system at all to be honest. I think there is probably a bit truth in both sides of the story, would police take it this far if it wasn't a public figure, I don't know. Maguire doesn't seem this type, but I don't know who he was with, northern lads with working class routes with a bit money sounds like trouble in the making
