Great first half, nervy second half but another 3 points and 9 points above the greatest team that’s ever been on this mighty earth.

A shame they scored with their only decent chance & our only lapse in concentration.

 

Given our midweek game in Europe, that was a pretty comfortable win.

Barnes was easily the MOTM, the whole back line were excellent though, including Thomas.

Good result but that second half was stressful. I really hope we don’t see that type of 11 again.

Good win, up to second! 

 

We went abit OTT defensive towards the end and game them the freedom to come at us which made it a nervous end to the game for me. Don't think we needed to drop that deep. We were relentless for 20 minutes in the first half though. Barnes class. Tielemans as always class. 

 

Super important win though. Over to arsenal and Newcastle. Come on, do football a favour.

Huge win. 1 more game this month but since February has been our worst month results wise outside of 2016. 

 

Now 10 points from 12. 

 

Breathtaking first half but hanging on in the second.

Great first half but the combination of factors counted against ourselves in the second-  losing Maddinson,  some tactical confusion by having all of our DMs on the pitch and tiredness however very valuable three points and we stood up when chips were down against us.    A good step forward in our European battle and nice booster ahead of our second game against Slavia-  I can see similiar shape and battle for that game.

 

Great run out for Thomas-  thought Traeoe got better of him in the second half but a great shift and learning curve.   Barnes a clear MOTM for me.

Thought it was a bit risky letting them onto us given the 90th minute winner they scored at the KP but we won so **** it. Less said about these games the better atm. Just keep grinding out the results don’t worry about the performance. Great mentality.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE only be a few days knock for Maddison. If we keep this squad fit then we achieve top 4 and/or silverware. Our bottle has grown no end since last season. 

 

Luke Thomas was immense, as was Barnes. Them two together are liquid.

I hope our inability to put it to bed first half doesn't come back to bite us on Thursday but all round a very decent 3 points

Remember when Bale was having a bad time at Spurs all those years ago and all of a sudden he found his confidence and shooting boots? Barnes is reminding me of that right now.

Yay - Thomas+Barnes really works on the left, and is only going to get better you think the more Thomas plays.  Timmy+Ricky P wasn't too bad on the right, either.  Let's hope we can stick another decent team out to get the job done against Sparta Prague...

Brilliant result. From what I've read Thomas and Barnes had a brilliant game. Great to see Barnes and Maddison continue to score as well.

Thomas was brilliant and Barnes is just getting better and better.

I think the all-out defence was largely down to us being absolutely knackered

Thomas potentially motm for me there great performance. Barnes brilliant as well.

I've never felt so comfortable yet so nervous at the same time.

 

Stupid early goal forced us into game management mode and we did it pretty well. Probably took more out of us doing that but it's another great win. 

 

Surprised he didn't take Vardy off for Iheanacho. 

 

Everyone moved out of position for their goal, but generally defended well. Castagne and Thomas excellent for the most part. Soyuncu outstanding again. 

 

Barnes a real threat, shame we couldn't get him running more second half. 

 

This part of the season is all about wins.

Despite the nervy finish Villa did now cause us any problems and kaspar has barely nothing to do. Superb win. 9 (N I N E) points ahead of Livarpool. Doughnuts all round at work on Monday.

I'm no fan of it but we see out games under Rodgers so for now I suppose we put up with it. We've very little alternative mind you.
