Technically he is superb, one of the best wingers in the league, it's just his decision making and consistency which is why he is with us and not the Premier League.

When he's confident and he gets it right, he is sublime. His assists and goals have been a fantastic return in his first season here.

After he scored and stared at the crowd for 20 seconds he was looking directly at me. Had that look of ‘Fvck you’ in his eyes. Quality

Only thing that prevents him being a PL player is his mentality. He's improved his shooting technique overall and I think his overall dribbling, passing and crossing is good enough but he can let games get the better of him.

 

Sublime finish today, might be my favourite of all his goals. That dink is naughty.

His goal was the moment of the match. Fantastic precision finish then great celebration with KDH, Winks, Daka etc plus the corner flag. He then just stared into the Kop soaking up the applause.

Thought he was okay, regardless of the goal, not sure I’ve really taken to him. Annoyed me with his half-hearted defending at the end, when the player was wrong side of him.

STEPHY is a baller he just needs to believe in himself more and be more motivated for every game. Has to realize he is only effective if he gives 100% period. Demand more from himself and his team mates. The makings of a very good player. Just hope we don’t have to sell him next season.

He needs a better target to aim at / bring him into play. We pass to him from defence but doesn’t receive the ball from fast counters which ultimately leaves him with far too much to do

Watched it in the boozer with a load of Leeds lads.. ‘how did 5 defenders and the keeper let that go through?’..

I’ve got about £4k on us going up/finishing above Leeds with them. Stephy kept me alive there

No I agree. KDH just wants it on his left and the inverted wingers always need an extra touch to get it on their preferred foot. Annoying all the same and many missed opportunities, but that’s how we play.

Listening to his interviews he seems a complex character.

 

I think can still improve and kick on he has all the tools to be a decent PL player.
