Max Power Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Not quite there yet but he’s always involved and making the right runs which is very promising especially for a young player.
lcfc sheff Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Think most with the patience can see he’ll be a top player, days like today just getting in the positions to score are promising signs so early on in his career. Could still see him as a striker (as much as his finishing wasn’t great today)
ozvaldo Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Yeah should have got one, but, I’m just excited that he’s getting himself into those positions and always looks a threat. Delighted he came back to get Prem experience. I think he’ll be a big player for us over the next 2-3 years.
TiffToff88 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Once he smashes in his first 30 yarder that he was banging in for fun at West Brom his confidence and quality will shine through. Just a bit of patience is needed while he makes the transition to the premier league
KrefelderFox666 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Should have scored 2 today but he's young. The good thing is that he is getting those chances and is in the position. Once he starts scoring he'll be very useful.
sm1 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 He's a top player, but what the hell is going on with his profile on Sky. It looks like they've stuck his head on somebody else's body
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 His finishing was poor today but his general play was so promising. He gets into great positions and makes the sort of runs full-backs hate. Raheem Sterling isn't a world class footballer (in my opinion) but the number of goals he gets for a wide-man is at the very highest level. That's because of his ability to get into great positions at the perfect time - a skill our Harvey has too. Given time and opportunities, he'll become a great player for us.
UniFox21 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 The fact he's getting into those positions is the best thing

Edingleyfox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 He needs a goal or two to calm his nerves but against 2 quality sides he has looked a massive threat. Would keep him in the side
SMX11 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Needs more game time at this level, looks a little intimidated of the stage at the minute.
Blanchflower78 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Need to persevere. Sink or swim, believe he'll come good. Finishing nervous today, a goal will hopefully break that sequence.
st albans fox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Stick with him please andplease please drop the groans .... the kid mustn’t lose his confidence........
Lesta2014 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 A young lad who’s positive every time he gets it. Missed couple of chances, be more concerned if he wasn’t getting into the positions. Goals will come. Has a big future with us. Work rate has been good too

Having said that, if Ghezzal or Iheanacho showed the same appetite to get in those positions in the first place, many on here would pass out in shock.
volpeazzurro Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Must keep playing for the experience but he's done really well I think. Keep playing him and then after a good pre season I think he'll do us proud over the next couple of years.
Devonfox1884 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 I haven’t seen a winger other than Mahrez get into the positions he does in recent years. He’s looked more dangerous in the past 2 games than Gray has in the last 20. He’ll score 10+ for us next season.
dylanlegend Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Positioning is great for a young player, if he puts extra work in on his finishing he will be world class without a doubt. I seem to to remember even with West Brom he had about 3 good chances a game and managed to score probably 1 so if his finishing improves he’ll be frightening
daverollo Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 The games this season are all about learning and building his experience. They’ll be good bad and indifferent performances, but it’s obvious he has a good football brain and hopefully a big part of a bright Leicester future
WigstonWanderer Posted 11 February 2019 Posted 11 February 2019 Seems a very intelligent footballer. I hope Puel keeps playing him and fans are patient. He showed at WBA that he can score, so goals will come. Very exciting prospect.

Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 11 February 2019 Posted 11 February 2019 Harvey was on fire at West Brom and should’ve been allowed to complete his education there.

He needs to learn how to apply his skills to the premiership though doesn't he. James Maddison was saying how it's been a learning curve for him coming up as the goalkeepers are better and the defenders make it more difficult for you (and no doubt he's still learning in that respect). It makes sense to let Harvey have the rest of the season to make those adjustments when the pressure is off so he's ready to go at the start of the next season.
