Yeah it is mate and I’ve got less than a year left on it.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll look into it.

Well the level of dodgyness here is pretty staggering but I’ve just woken up to the news that someone has smashed my door and stolen the Golf.

****ing scumbag *****.

Been looking at this myself recently ready for when I move out. It's worth it then? The price seems more than reasonable.

Yes mate, I don’t want to derail the thread but we flip between gusto and hello fresh. It’s decent value at full price but the discount for new customers or returning customers so we wait for each one to send you an offer to come back and flip.
You cook some great recipes (they have Wagamama ones, Joe wicks ones and other guest recipes at certain times) and all the tedious stuff is done for you. All the spices measured out etc, you only get exactly what you need so food waste is down ten fold.

I’m an environmentalist at heart.

For me the supermarkets loved their three/four days of profiteering from it all rather than showing some actual care. Quite simply should have been quotas with immediate effect. I need to shop around this weekend and I haven’t got a clue if I’ll get any food in. It’s depressing to see shelves empty of fruit etc

If it helps and you can get a membership the Costco fruit and veg part seemed well stocked.

Again tho no meat, unless you wanted sausage or fish. No bog rolls, no washing powder or capsules etc. Freezers empty.

FFS! Really?

I reckon it could have been @Izzy?

hope you get it sorted mate. Hopefully you have insurance (and gap insurance) and that will at least solve your dilemma of whether to sell it or not!

As a father of two boys and the mrs works for the NHS......Going to have to swap the morning shift(which i love!) to night's(which i hate!)....Happy days!

You may know this already by now, but if your Mrs works for the NHS, then you will qualify for the free child care at school. Released it this morning - only 1 parent needs to be classed as a 'key worker'.

Thanks. I have a feeling I have both, I’ve obviously got normal insurance.

Some retailers are working with their supply chain to look at what orders they have placed, what can be reworked into something else with the raw materials and a commitment to take in what is already made when selling starts again.  Also what can be cancelled because the raw mats aren’t past a certain point in the manuf process.

this approach still causes plenty of pain re cash flow but it’s understandable

several retailers have simply pulled up the drawbridge and quoted clauses in their purchase order contracts which enables them to cancel everything, irrespective of what damage that does to their supplier as they believe they are too big to need to rely on any one company moving forward or maybe that they simply don’t believe they will survive this anyway and therefore don’t care!

The one hour early shop opening for the eldery and vulnerable turned out to be a load of shit, elderly neighbour popped out to Sainsburys near me and said it was a free for all.

Not sure if it wasnt policued by security or if people just claimed they were shopping for the eldery but either way it's a bit shit of the big stores to promise something they couldnt stick to.

It's my first day back at work today for 2 weeks. I work in distribution, I know it must be much worse for the shop staff but I cant say I'm looking forward to today. I went to one of our shops yesterday, the chilled stuff was pretty bare. I didnt think people would stockpile too much chilled stuff so I assumed my warehouse wouldn't be too bad. Guess not.

Do we reckon it's lockdown today?.

I genuinely think it'd be wise to do it before the weekend. People are already going bored shitless partly due to the lack of sport no doubt. If you want to implement social distancing a temporary lockdown for a couple of days may finally get the point in to everyone's heads not to socialise. Seen too many people thinking they're cool and proving everyone wrong at pubs almost gloating that they're too good to get the virus just cos they have a pint in their hand. Take it seriously ffs!

Haha I only do 3 days a week, every fri/sat/sun, so if I book them off I get nearly 2 weeks off. Before that though I think I've worked 1 day in the past month due to other holidays pre-booked plus a week for a bereavement. Should be well rested at least!

Security on the door of my Asda this morning letting people in 10 at a time as people left. Dedicated checkouts for older people as well which was good to see.

What real leadership looks like, unlike those lightweight cretins Trump and Johnson.

Must admit, always been a fan of Merkel, but comparing Boris to Donnie is a bit harsh.

Watching Trump trying to talk technical drug names yesterday was comedy/agony in equal measure
