They woulda assessed and took him at his word. They aren’t Fcuking mind readers if he’d have said I’m ok to finish then that’s that.

st albans fox Posted 29 December 2020 Posted 29 December 2020 Wilf finished the game following which he needed surgery ...... sometimes you can’t assess an injury effectively....
Leeds Fox Posted 29 December 2020 Posted 29 December 2020 No two injuries are the same, so comparing Owen being carried off and Ricardo playing another 20 mins is pointless. The degree of the initial injury was obviously very different. Ricardo’s probably wasn’t serious but needed surgery to prevent it from getting to the point of a complete rupture (like Owens).
majaco Posted 29 December 2020 Posted 29 December 2020 Have we signed Michael Owen? Is there any news on Pereira?
smitha Posted 29 December 2020 Posted 29 December 2020 It's not his ACL injury keeping him out, he has done his groin over stretching in the Zoya game so why are we comparing it to Owen?

Tom12345 Posted 29 December 2020 Posted 29 December 2020 What a pity. I thought he was invincible before his injury. He always seemed to get up after nasty challenges.

The whole world smiles Posted 30 December 2020 Posted 30 December 2020 I always panic when I see this thread near the top. I presume he's had a another lay off.
harpendenfox Posted 31 December 2020 Posted 31 December 2020 It would be great if he could play 60 minutes against Stoke. 5 subs allowed so plenty of flexibility. Fingers crossed for the silky skilled genius
sheffield_fox Posted 31 December 2020 Posted 31 December 2020 Can't wait much longer to see our full strength team. Exciting times

We're going to have to drop JJ,as steady as he is,he lacks that x factor Ricardo at RB does and wouldn't be as good a winger as Ünder would be.

Games against the weaker teams you might start Ricardo at right back and ünder ahead, other games where we expect to be under pressure you might go Justin at right back with Ricardo ahead... and even change this in game. We basically have a lot of options and flexibility now, which is great! 1
Raw Dykes Posted 31 December 2020 Posted 31 December 2020 Huge credit to JJ that it's even a debate as to who should play when Ricardo is back. 2

Not sure we are! Ricardo is fantastic. Justin being able to deputise regularly and show his talent while still having potential is a big credit to him and the way he's approached having to play pretty much all the time. 1
Simonb Posted 31 December 2020 Posted 31 December 2020 I'd push Justin further forward and have riccy at rb Pereira n Justin on right n Timothy and Barnes left... Frightening Got a feeling after this weekends fixtures the fixtures will go on hold for 2 to 4 weeks anyway, so probably more time for riccy the recover
