Popular Post Ric Flair 20,492 Posted 6 November 2020 Popular Post Report Share Posted 6 November 2020 Whilst we are on another one of these runs where we are simply irresistible, please take a moment to appreciate just how good he can get us playing. This is a team being juggled with injuries to many of our key players and we are arguably looking stronger. The headache comes when they come back and whether we stick or twist on selection and system as it sometimes isn't so simple. But the sheer amount of goals Rodgers gets us to score in games is off the scale, we have never really experienced this in the top flight in the modern era, even when we won it under Ranieri we didn't systematically destroy teams as regularly as we are doing under this tenureship. Just a few weeks ago his tactical ability was ridiculed by plenty on here and yet right now his tactics are too good for supposedly some of the best coaches in the world. Lap it up Brendan, when the goings good it's beautiful. 7
SkidsFox 102 Posted 6 November 2020 Report Share Posted 6 November 2020 The danger now is that just one or two bad losses by Manure, and guess who they seek as new manager?

Very challenging circumstances and we're overcoming everything. It's sad that after what happened last year that you can't get too excited, but we're looking like we're really beginning to click a bit. Earning his money so far this season. The most impressive thing has been how well the fringe players have done. To keep them physically fit, as well as mentally prepared, is a hell of a job. Rodgers has managed it. He's got selection issues when the big guns are back because you could argue that most of the usual squad players are pushing for starts on form.

Frost 481 Posted 30 November 2020 Report Share Posted 30 November 2020 (edited) Home defeats against West Ham, Villa and Fulham (most probably) without scoring a goal. Worrying. He got the setup completely wrong today. Edited 30 November 2020 by Frost

Corky 12,977 Posted 30 November 2020 Report Share Posted 30 November 2020 This is why he's here and not with a top club. Too fairweather and relies far too much on Vardy's brilliance to get us something.

matty98 1,738 Posted 30 November 2020 Report Share Posted 30 November 2020 For a manager that has a supposedly attacking philosophy we do go through some awful spells of no chances being created.

Matt 4,739 Posted 30 November 2020 Report Share Posted 30 November 2020 (edited) People will stick up for him but the questions keep having to be asked. I thought generally we’d sorted ourselves out playing effectively and well but in the last 3 games, we’re back at our negative shite from last season. Mickyblueeyes 2,501 Posted 30 November 2020 Report Share Posted 30 November 2020 Too many times we are ill prepared for the opposition. It’s lazy. He needs to sort that ASAP. If this “elite” football - I don’t want it.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 350 Posted 30 November 2020 Report Share Posted 30 November 2020 Is it not always the lower teams, who sit back that we can’t beat. It always seems we don’t have a clue how to get through a deep set team.
