the year they were ejected from europe with a 2 year banm but appealed and CAS overturned pending this review was......Feb 20. So we would have been in the Champs League 2 years running from 20/21 to 20/22 and the subsequent financial unravellings due to lack of income / FFP balance would have played out exactly in the way that it did. Our investment would have delivered the required financial payback in Champs Lge revenues.. Their cheating and appeal, staving off the consequences of a european ban, has directly led to the financial downfall of our club IMO. It may not hold in a court of law. But very simply, take them out of europe in 20/21 and 20/22 and we get circa £100m more each year in revenue. How much did we miss FFP by each year? less than that.

We should comfortably be able to argue legacy benefit, in any case any punishment for 2018 would have likely been applied in the 2019/20 season.
 

Any appeal would have to be on the basis of evidence now available that wasn’t at the time of the hearing or some sort of abuse of process.

 

Haaland’s 9 year contract is a potential millstone if they are in the National League next season. 😂

Which then opens up the argument that Leeds should be suing them not us.

They do, but they're the same charges as the UEFA charges for which they were banned from Europe for those two seasons, and which got overturned for being "time barred" after they'd spent half a decade doing to UEFA pretty much what they've been doing to the Premier League. 

 

5th should have qualified for the Champions League in both of those two seasons.

You have no idea if they are going to be stripped of all that success yet do you. 
 

And to be fair we cheated and got promoted it’s not the PL’s fault we were cheating and still managed to be shite apart from that little season. 
 

If we are going down the route of stripping them of titles we should be stripped of our championship trophy and our seasons PL money

, if we actually want fair, which we have not.

How this plays out now is going to be interesting. This no doubt affects a lot of teams so if they go down the route of even just fines, surely there is going to numerous counter claims from all other clubs affected by missing out on Europe, relegation etc.
