How they are going to unpick this is anyones guess.

To be fair the Chelsea case from earlier this year has gone undetected mostly and similar claims can be held on that. In effect third party payments to players who won a league title. Saracens were relegated for a similar behaviour

One big, boring merry-go-round of lawsuits and bullshit to follow, hopefully resulting in the abolition of the financial rules in anything resembling their current structure.

I doubt it any punishment is unlikely to retrospective at most it'll be a points deduction going forward, a ban from some competitions and a fine.
