Someone on Tipping Point thought there's a statue of Tony Adams outside LCFC's stadium.

Not that we'd have a statue of either of them... but was it something to do with it being an exArsenal defender and someone just hashed the 50/50 between Adams and Keown?

Statue...?

Pereira could power Foxes to finish line

Leicester may be third in the league but their position is deceptive: they are arguably better than at least one of the teams above them. While none of the division’s heavyweights can convincingly claim to be exceeding the sum of their parts this season, Brendan Rodgers’s side are doing exactly that – and the parts themselves are about to improve, too. The rampant right-back Ricardo Pereira, their best player across the previous two seasons, made his first league start of the campaign on Wednesday and was denied a goal only by an offside teammate. The talismanic Wilfred Ndidi and Jamie Vardy could be back in contention to face Wolves on Sunday, while Harvey Barnes looks to be improving with each game, and with the goals to prove it. The Foxes’ last season was defined by a stark decline at the halfway point. This time around, there’s every chance they could get better.

Im always super nervous when stories like this come out and we get praise and expectation heaped upon us...cause it means we'll go and loose the next game :crylaugh:

The other thing is, that's written from a perspective that all injuries and player recovery are somehow a linear trajectory; that we will go from 'some players unavailable' to 'all players available' and become some amazing powerhouse.

Obviously it's great that players like Cags and Ricardo are coming back to full fitness, but it's at a time when Timmy and Fofana are now sidelined.

I keep saying it, but there's no such thing as 'the first team' this season...

Former Ireland Manager Brian Kerr gives his opinion on todays game. Describing the game as entertaining aside It's not a bad summary of us to be fair.

Unusual to hear an interview with a pundit (I guess that's what he is now) that has actually done his homework on us and speaks knowledgeably without resorting to the standard tired old clichés.

Sky and BT could do with some that know something about clubs outside the usual 6.
