His issue with wanting to play for Man United is the fact he's behind Fernandes, Van der Beek and likely Pogba. Every big team has his position pretty much covered currently.

I agree.

Now ask yourself when having lots of players in a position actually stopped MUFC buying a player.

You even mentioned VdB. They also have Lingaard to go back there.

Point is, I'm not convinced JM is quite as focussed on LCFC as some would like to imagine.

I have no idea how him going to a party has turned into he doesn't really care about playing for Leicester anymore.

Is this the same for Barnes because he went too.  Perhaps he always wanted to play for Burnley like his dad!

Can't argue with your point at all, Man United spend stupidly on the regular and likely would be in for Maddison should be be available.

Maddison is at that key few years in his career which dictates whether he's given the chance at a higher level now or left for a few more years. His injuries and lack of maturity off the pitch look like they could cost him that regular international spot or a chance at a massive club.

I don't know that either because I don't think that; because I don't see two things and just assume direct causality between the two?

Not sure what more I can say?

If anything, the fact that he is partying with his team mates suggest he’s pretty content with who he is around at the minute. Don’t think someone is gonna pay the money we’d want for someone not in the England squad.

Night and day compared to Perez and I'm not talking about parties. Got to start on Thursday.

Absolutely. Perez messed up so many promising positions with bad touches, taking the wrong option and  misplaced passes. Maddison's arrival immediately meant that we got some passing movements going. His set pieces were as honking as ever, though!!

...you just cannot understand how someone said to have so much talent can be so bad at set pieces!!!

We need to take him off set pieces, we can't use the excuse of him just getting back from a lay off, he has been poor for a long time. Someone needs to step up and make it their duty to give us a proper option in regards to delivery.

It looks like another facet of the game, we pay little attention to.

We're always at our best when Maddison, Tielemans and Ndidi are on the pitch together. If all 3 stay fit for the rest of the season I think we've got a good shot at finishing top 4 and winning the cup

I trust him on the football as much as I do Youri.

His neat little turns and one twos are very good. He just makes things look effortless. Very important he starts the final for me

Nice news

EDIT: sorry, don’t know how to embed tweets on my phone

Oh no, we're going to be seeing those thumb sucking, ball up the shirt, sequenced arm rocking goal celebrations now. I guess he had his mind elsewhere last night.

Congrats to the happy couple.
