Invariably he is better as an impact sub. Id keep him around if he were content to play that role.

Nothing has changed from the summer, we needed a starting quality wideman then, and we still do now.

Enough is enough.

I can think of one moment of genuine quality this season - that interplay with Vards that ended up in a goal at Palace. Whenever he starts he whittles away the opportunity. Most players have thrived under Rodgers - telling Gray hasn't.

His contract is up in a year. We should sell in the summer to reap some sort of profit.

He's done well this season except for today. Some good cameo's, I'd still replace both him and Albrighton though.

Still no real improvement in him from when we bought him- you only have to look at the rest of the players who have thrived under Rodgers and you have to ask yourself whether he is really wanting to put work in to get better.

His ability to think clearly in promising situations and make the right decision is virtually non-existent. That lack of footballing intelligence has always held him back.

He has NEVER had a sustained run of good form for us - just the odd decent performance that teases you into thinking that he really can be a top player.

His legacy here will be one of eternal disappointment.

This season was his biggest chance to make an impression and aside from a few decent cameos, he just hasn’t shown enough quality. We need major upgrades of our wingers in the summer.

Today confirmed he is not making the real progress some hoped he would. His value is going down at the moment.

The problem is we've been saying that for 4 years😬

He's clearly talented it's just how he uses it I guess. Today was not a good day to judge anyone but I do feel Gray is running out of hall passes, and I say that as someone who likes him!

I wonder if he's putting into practice what is happening on the training ground? Because he does sometimes seem to dally on the ball, take one too many touchs or try to beat one too many players. I'm sure Rodgers doesn't want players doing that as he seems to emphasize speed and intensity in build up play.

I really don't know. He is frustrating.

There’s a reason why he cost 3.5m and Maddison was 23m.

Half decent build up play but ultimately I don’t think he has the quality.

Barnes is now way ahead of him.

Thought he did alright West Ham away and today up until he hit the wall from a free kick he earned early on.

He has improved in his time here, but not greatly and he is still an average player compared to the rest of our squad. Dimmy needs to up another gear or we should invest in an alternative and let him decide if he wants to continue being a bit part nearly man for the rest of his career.

He’s gone from being our second choice winger, briefly, to our fourth choice. And he’s not good enough to be our fourth choice.

Really hope he moves on and builds some kind of career somewhere, and we get a second/third choice wide player by next Friday.

Thanks for your part in the goal at Palace Dimmy. So long & good luck

In 5 years time people will still be saying he's a good young prospect, then they'll realise oh he's nearly 30, never mind.

He's Leicesters version of lingard!

When he's had the opportunity here he's not looked anything special, so that must mean he's not good enough at this level sadly. Could do a job for derby though?

The comparison with lingard is spot on.

Harvey has had a run of starts to recover some form and confidence ......dimi rarely gets two starts as he is never forgiven for his meh performance .....Brendan sees them in training and clearly feels dimi doesn’t do enough ....... would be good for him to get a three/four game starting run to get some rhythm .

What I find particularly annoying is that when he balls something up he then stands still for 30 seconds, waving his hands around in frustration, as if showing the manager how cross he is, will make it alright.

Agree with most of the posts on here, had every chance. Time to move him on, he's now blocking a place for some of the other u23s.

Gray's career has stalled somewhat in recent seasons. He should be a regularly first-teamer but he hasn't shown the promise he is capable of

This. At least when Perez messes up a dribble or times the run incorrectly he works back and tries to get stuck in.

Gray was shit today.
